Chapter 14: Black Spider-Man

"Spidey!!"

I called peters name over and over and not a single reply. I rounded a corner of a skyscraper and just as I about give up, I saw something dark come in front of me an I drew t knife and reacted a few claws.

"Who's there?"

"It's me"

Out of the shadows arose Spider-man in a black suit. the small blue spider was now a dark purple/black and it wasn't the same Peter Parker. His mask was off, and a different Peter looked at me. his hair was parted all to the side and he smiled at me.

"Peter?"

"What's up Abs"

Ok very strange. has he ever called me Abs before? I'd say maybe one time.

"Something's um different"

"Nothing's different, I'm just a little better then I was before"

He came closer to me and pulled my mask off. he was breathing into my face and he smiled. he cupped my head and kissed me. it was a passionate kiss, and that's how I'm going to leave it. I pulled away and he gripped my arm.

"What's wrong?"

"Ok who are you and what have you done with Peter Parker?"

"It's me!"

"Peter would never kiss me like that, what's going on?"

"I'm just embracing my inner self, you don't know what else I'm capable of"

"Peter, I don't know what's going on, but tomorrow we are getting the key to the city. Get your act together"

"Oh trust me my act will be together"

He pulled on his mask and shot web stuff, and instead of the usually white web it was black.

By the time I woke up from my deep sleep it was 10:39.

"Oh shoot the ceremony!"

I got up and changed into Catwoman and escaped through the window. I could hear the crowds cheering out names and I stopped for a moment, just above all of the cheering crowds. I smiled and felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hey hero!"

Maddie appeared and Rhea was next to her.

"Guys, you came!"

"I couldn't miss my best friends key to the city ceremony"

I fist bumped Maddie and Rhea extended her arm and I fist bumped her as well.

"Hey look who else decided to show up, oh and he has a different colored suit now?"

I looked to where Maddie was pointing and I saw Peter come swinging towards the stage. a pretty blonde was standing on the stage microphone in hand and I recognized her instantly. Gwen Stacey.

"Aren't you gonna go down there"

"In a minute I want to watch this"

Peter waved to he crowed and hit hands as he swung past them. he shot web stuff up in the arch of the stage and propelled downwards. using my cat hearing I tuned into everything Gwen was saying and I could even head Peter.

"Well spidey it seems you've got a new suit! and I think we all love it!"

The crowds responded with yes and more yelling and screaming. I saw more spider man posters and balloons then Catwoman. did they not like me? as I turned my attention back to Peter I saw Gwen lift peters mask up a tad revealing his red lips and she planted a big one on his.
