Remus Lupin looked at the class before him, his brow furrowing. Isabelle sat at the front of the class reading their textbooks, as are the rest of the Ravenclaws. The Gryffindors were joining for a double-session; all of them were here except for Hope and Henry.

"Where are those troublesome little tykes?" he muttered under his breath.

Knowing Hope, she probably would've taken her sweet time for a Thursday first period DADA class, possibly still at the Great Hall, eating, or in the dormitories, still asleep. Henry was most likely still in bed, even though it is already eleven o'clock. Remus looked at his watch, he would have to start without them.

"Alright, today we are looking at Doxies as our topic. Does anyone know what a Doxy is?"

Isabelle raised her hand before he even finished his sentence. The rest of the class sat staring blankly at the front.

"Yes, Miss Sanders."

"The Doxy, sometimes referred as the Biting Fairy, is sometimes misunderstood as a fairy, but it actually isn't. It is a beast, as classified by the Ministry of Magic, and has 4 arms and legs that are covered with coarse black hair. It is also considered as a household pest as it hides under the drapes."

The Diggory boy stared at her, mouth hanging open.

"What?" she asked.

"I finally know why the Sorting Hat put you in Ravenclaw. You always sound like you just ate a book."

The class giggled but was immediately quiet after Remus shot them all a warning look. "Thank you, Miss Sanders. Now, would anyone like to-"

The door to the classroom banged open against the wall. Hope and Henry rushed in, muttering rushed apologies and sat down at the back of the classroom.

"Do we have an explanation for this or not, Miss Weasley?"

"Umm... a... fairy ate my... sock and Henry's... um... book?" Hope smiled.

Remus looked at his granddaughter, shaking his head. "Just take a seat, Miss Weasley and Mr Black."

"Thanks, Grandpa Rem Rem!" Hope chirped, causing the whole class to laugh.

Isabelle sat, trying to look away from Hope to stop herself from laughing. Remus stared, unamused.

"Now, let's focus on the task at hand." Remus said, conjuring a cage of Doxies out of his wand. "What is the most dangerous part about a Doxy?"

Isabelle's hand shot up. Hope rolled her eyes.

"Yes, Miss San-"

Confetti exploded from the back of the class. Everyone burst into laughter again.

Remus gritted his teeth and walked towards where the noise had come from. The Gryffindor girl sitting in front of Hope and Henry was covered from head to foot in confetti. If looks could kill, Hope and Henry would already have been strangled. The two high-fived each other.

"Are you alright, Miss Taylor?"

The girl nodded and rushed out of the door, running towards the bathrooms.

Remus turned and glared at a giggling Hope and a Henry banging his fists on the table, laughing.

"Miss Weasley, Mr Black. I am very sorry but there will be detention for you tonight."

"But Grandpa Rem Rem..." Hope pouted.

"Please?" Henry begged.

"Sorry, Hope, but no. Give me those confetti bombs. I'll be writing to your parents tonight during your punishments."

Remus walked away from them, shaking his head, not believing that he had just given a detention to his own granddaughter.

After the class ended, some Ravenclaws stayed behind, copying down some notes written on the blackboard on pieces of parchment. Sirius and Nixie entered the classroom, Sirius' arm wrapped around Nixie's waist.

"Good morning, Professor Black. Good morning, Professor Dover." Isabelle greeted as she left the classroom with Elliot beside her. Elliot just nodded at them.

They smiled and walked towards Remus, who was busy organizing his paperwork.

Sirius shook his head at Remus' tidy desk. "Same old Rems, tidy and organized as always. Reminds me of when we were students in this place."

Nixie rolled her eyes. "You should see his desk, Rems. Atrocious."

"It's not my fault that I'm messy, Flipper."

"Well, then it's not mine either, Fluffy."

Remus stood up from his desk and started to head upstairs to his office. "Now you guys should really shut up."

Once Sirius and Nixie left Remus' classroom, Nixie shoved him. "Why are you such an idiot, Sirius?!"

"At least I'm your idiot, right?" he grinned cheekily.

"Dream on."
