Shira POV

Its been two months since I gotten with Jamel and its been good. No drama at all because he is really good guy. However, I miss Trey more than I will admit to my friends. They are all team Jamel cause he won't hurt, he is a good guy, etc. And Trey has groupies and commitment issues, but I still miss him. I miss his smile, his voice and his goofy kid like behavior. It's always fun with Trey. I know he misses me too because Bully and his family tell me that every time I talk to them. Mumma April wants to slap some sense into him, so we can get back together. But what's the point if he is just going to cheat on me? I think he did me a favor by walking away before I fall in love with him. I still miss him, damnit I got really attached to this man.

Trey POV

I'm a motherfucking mess on the inside and its all because of Shira. I've been with a million women but its something about her, that's affecting me so deeply. It makes me miss everything about her like: her smile, her chubby cheeks, her laughter, the fun we have together and how she fits so perfectly in my arms. I also like that her independent spirit, she doesn't need me to save her, unlike all the women I've been with. She understands and accepts my flaws plus she doesn't try to change me. The only thing she wants me to do is love only her and I couldn't even do that. I just have punk out and stay being a ho. I need to stop letting my dick think for me.

"Yea, I agree

I look up and Shira is standing in my living room holding Kane.

"What are you doing here?

"Rude. I came to save you

"Why? Your new nigga ain't going to be happy about that.

"Well I'm not worried about his happiness right now, I'm worried about yours. So go take a shower. I sent Bully out to get groceries cause of course y'all don't have any.

I get up and walk past her. She puts Kane down and grabs my arm.

"I'm here for you Trey. No need to be in this mood anymore.

She kisses my cheek and goes into the kitchen.

I go upstairs into my bedroom then into my bathroom. I turn on the hot water then I strip. I'm probably in the shower for an hour trying not to think. I finally get out and go back into my room and I see Shira sitting on the bed.

"Lay down, I'm going to give you a full body massage.

"You just could say that you wanna see me naked.

"Yay! your back to normal. If I wanted to see you naked I wouldn't use an excuse. Now lay down.

I take my towel off and I lay naked on my bed. She massages me till I fall asleep.

I wake up some time later, put on some basketball shorts then go search for Shira and Kane. I find them out in the backyard. Shira is drinking and Kane is sleeping. When I come closer I notice that she has red eyes from crying.

"What's wrong Angel?

"Jamel proposed.

I frown

"but it was all a lie. He was just using me to get his green card. Apparently my so called friend Beth set the whole thing up. She thought I could use the money and a guy. She actually told that I need to stop being picky and stuck up. She also said that you would never settle down with me and at least Jamel would be with me.

"Wow. She is a bitch.

"I know. That's why I broke her nose.

I laugh

"So we are both single and broken, What Shall we do?

"Eat.

"Good idea.

Hand in hand we go into the house. I grab some snacks from the pantry while Shira orders takeout. For the rest of the night we eat, we laugh and we enjoy each other company.
