Chapter 3

**LaShay's POV**

I woke up laying on Malik's chest and his hands were still around my waist, he was so warm. I didn't even want to get out of the bed so I just sat their thinking for a little. I can't believe that Malik finally asked me out. We really gotta talk some things out before I officially say yes to him, because them little side hoes gots to GO!Point.Blank.Period. That's one thing that I don't play.I looked at the clock and it was now 7:30, Malik was still sound asleep.I unwrapped his arms from around me and got out of the bed walking into the bathroom to do my hygiene things.

I brushed my teeth then got into the shower, shaving everywhere.Once I got out the shower I went to pick out my outfit for today. I decided to wear a white wife beater that was low cut, showing off some of my cleavage but not too much.I put on some high waisted light blue distressed skinny jeans, tucking the shirt into it. I added a gold linked chain necklace with my new gamma blue Jordan's. I walked over to the bed and started rubbing on Malik's abs and chest ;) he loves when I do that.

"You trynna get dicked down?" Malik said in his tired voice. I chuckled

"Then you betta stop"he said

He turned onto his side looking at me "who you looking all cute for ma? He did with his eyebrow raised, he looked so cute

"All for you baby" I said smiling

"Better be" he said smiling and getting out of the bed and going into the bathroom.

I got up and took my hair out of the bun using my crimper to give it a body wave effect. Then I started on my makeup. I did cat eye eyeliner and added some mascara putting on some light pink lipstick with a nude lipgloss for shine. I added some medium sized gold hoop earrings.I also grabbed my black Louis Vuitton purse with gold studs all over it and went downstairs. Today was the day that I was going to officially break it off with Hakeem, I texted him and told him to meet me at the mall at 12. He texted back sayin "Ok". I called Ti'Onna to see what she was doing today, cuz I wanted her to come with me too the mall. We was on the phone and I got her hip to yesterday's events and how her brother had spent the night over here and asked me out.She was telling me he had her practically stalking me and I found that funny and cute. I didn't know that he cared about me that much. We were still talking on the phone when Malik came downstairs and sat next to me on the couch, I ended my phone call with Ti'Onna letting her know to be ready in 45 minutes. We had about 30 minutes before we had to leave to go get Ti'Onna, I decided to use that time to the best of,my ability and brought up what's been on my mind all morning.

"Whatchu gotta do today?" I asked Malik

"I got some business to handle"Malik said while putting his phone in his pocket.

I nodded my head in understandment

"But later on today, like around 9 I wanna take you out." He said while putting his hand on my thigh and smoothly licking his pink plump lips.


"Ima have to see if I can squeeze you into my schedule..." I said jokingly

He leaned back on the couch with his hand covering his heart acting like he was shocked, by time I looked at him again he was on top of me. He stared into my eyes then he leaned down and started kissing me on my neck, between every word he kissed me


"So" kiss "is" kiss "your" kiss "schedule" kiss "clear" kiss "now"

By time he was finished with what he was saying he started to stare me in the eyes then he slowly leaned down and kissed me passionately. The kiss was short but left me wanting more. He got up and pulled me up with him, we left the house and got into the car.


We got to her house at 11:45 and picked up Ti'Onna so we still had plenty of time to get to the mall.When we got to the mall Ti'Onna got out the car and right when I was about to get out Malik pulled on my arm, pulling me back in and he handed me a stack of money then he kissed me on the cheek.

"Get something tight" he winked at me

I laughed while rolling my eyes and got out of the car. I didn't even try to refuse the money because I knew that he wouldn't take it back.I quickly caught up with Ti'Onna and she looked at me smiling.

"He gave you money?" Ti'Onna asked me with the biggest grin

"Yea...how'd you know" I asked her creeped out, because she was walking while me and him were talking

"Don't worry bout that.Just know that my brother only gives money to people that he loves" she said smiling at me

"Anywayyy...The real reason I brought you here is so that I can break up with Hakeem..." I said watching her face for any type of expression

"Oh shit you have FINALLY seen the light! " she said surprised

"Girl bye. All I know it that I don't have time for these little boys no more, ima focus on me and Malik from now on" I said blushing thinking about him

"Y'all are too cute, but ima be real with you. My brother got a lot of hoes so be ready to throw some hands." She said looking at me

"Honestly, I'm not going to deal with that drama no matter how much I like him. I'm not playing no more games, I'm ready for a serious relationship. And if he can't stay faithful then on to the next" I said in all honesty

"Amen to that boo. Before i got with Marcus i had to let him know what was real." she said laughing

i laughed as we walked through the mall and saw Hakeem sitting at one of the food place tables. we walked up to him and he looked up at me as we were sitting down.

"I already know what your gonna say...you don't know why you ever went out with me...you hate me...and you never want to see me again." he said keeping his head low

"Well it went a little something like that" i said slightly chuckling trying to lighten up the moment because honestly i did still have some type of feelings for him deep deep down. But im not gonna let my heart confuse my mind because I definitely love Malik.

"Hakeem I honestly don't even care about why you did what you did, but i just wanted you to know that I dont want to be with you anymore" i said not able to look into his eyes

"You sure thats what you want La'Shay?" Hakeem asked me sternly

"Yes" i said getting up while grabbing my purse

"Well I hope you know this ain't the last of me that you will be seeing" he said getting up and walking away

I rolled my eyes and got up.

"You good girl?" Ti'Onna asked me as she linked our arms together.

"Yea girl i'm not tripping off him. He couldn't stay faithful...and I deserve better than him" i said flipping my hair over my shoulder

"Yes mami!!" she said flipping her hair too

"Malik said that he was taking me somewhere tonight so I need to find an outfit to wear" i said excitedly

After i told her about the date we are supposed to have, she started dragging me into bunch of stores...starting with victoria secret. By time we left i had a white leather strapless bodycon dress. I also got a black lace thong and a matching strapless bra. My shoes were white heels with silver on the toe and on the heel.

We left the mall at around 5, when Malik picked us up.

Malik's POV


While LaShay and Ti'Onna were at the mall, I had a few errands to run. Tonight was the night that I was gonna make LaShay mines.Shes all that's on my mind, all day everyday. When I'm around her all in want to do is kiss and touch on her. I cannot go another day without calling her mines.Im gonna be the best man that she's ever had , and I'm not gonna fuck up this relationship or let somebody else have her. So while they were shopping, I dropped by a few of my now old hoes houses and let them know what was real.

Around 5 o'clock LaShay called me and asked me to come pick them up but I was already headed their. When they got into the car I noticed that Shay had a victoria secret bag, I wonder whats inside it. She caught me eyeing the bag and laughed while she turned the radio to WKYS. "I Luv this shit" was on and her and Ti'Onna started turning up

Shay was twerking all on the seat and shit. Had me struggling to keep my eyes on the road.

"Damn I love him" Ti'Onna said

"Yes girl his voice extra sexy" LaShay replied

We pulled up to my moms house, I don't live there no more. I moved out cuz I can support myself but I see my mother on a regular basis.

After we dropped my sister off I dropped LaShay off at home, took her bags in for her an made sure she was settled and then headed back to my place. So I could get dressed, I'm planning on taking LaShay out to this really fancy Italian restaurant. Then we going out to the club, so I can show off my girl. Ti'Onna is gonna meet us at the club at 11. While we're their I got just a little business to handle so Marcus is gonna be their too.

When it hit 7:30 I started getting dressed. I took a shower and shaved my face. I put on a pair of khaki cargoes, a navy blue polo shirt, and a silver chain. I picked out a pair of all white air forces, I decided to add a light grey blazer. I brushed my waves and put on some Louis Vuitton cologne. My pants wee sagging so I grabbed my Fendi belt, phone and wallet then left out the house.

I got to Shay's house at a little before 9. I got out the car walking into her house, I don't know how many times I got to tell her to lock the fucking door.I walked upstairs and into her room and she had on this black lace bra and panties. She got her dress out the closet and put it on her bed.

"Hey baby" I said while sitting on her bed

"Hey, why you here so early?"She said about to walk past me to her vanity

I grabbed her hand pulling her to me, she was standing in between my legs and I bit my lip while looking her up and down.

"See something you like?" She asked while chuckling at me

"Yeah ma" I said pulling her by her waist on top of me. She leaned down and started kissing me and running her hands through my freshly twisted dreads. She was getting little man in my pants all worked up and I know she could feel it poking her leg. She pulled away an got up starting to put on some eyeliner.

"I don't want us to be late" she said while winking at me

"I see how it is" I chuckled and walked into the bathroom to handle my situation

Once I came back out of the bathroom she was ready to go. She looked classy and absolutely sexy at the same time. She had on a white leather dress with white and silver heels on. She had her Chinese bang out like Nicki Minaj usually has her hair and she had on a little bit of makeup. I couldn't take my eyes off of her body. That dress definitely showed off every curve on her body, ima have to keep her locked to me tonight. She grabbed her juicy cotoure chain necklace with a heart on it that was all silver and studded out and had me put it around her neck. She grabbed her iPhone 5S and tucked it into her bra along with some cash and we were outtie.

Nobody's POV

LaShay and Malik arrived at the restaurant at 9:30. Malik parked in valet so he gave his keys to the man then grabbed LaShay's hand escorting her into the restaurant while holding the door for her. They were escorted to a more private area of the restaurant by the waiter and seated. They were sitting across from each other looking at the menu.

"What you getting?" LaShay asked Malik

"The shrimp scampi, the name is different but that's what it really is" Malik said while showing it to her on the menu

"Ooo that looks good, I want that too" LaShay said

"Always tryna be like me" Malik said joking with her

"Boy bye you wish" LaShay said chuckling at him

The waiter walked up to their table.

"Hi, my name is James I will be your waiter for today. What may I get you"

"Can I get a bottle of your finest wine and 2 Shrimp Le Zee" Malik ordered in his business voice

LaShay was watching him order their food and was slightly turned on by his seriousness.

The waiter walked off. Malik looked at LaShay and grabbed her hand from across the table.

"So when we gone stop playing these games" he asked getting serious

"What do you mean?" LaShay asked wanting him to elaborate more on what he considers games.

Malik sucked his teeth

"You know what I mean, we act like we go out and everybody thinks we go out but we don't and I want you...scratch that I need you in my life. Why won't you just give me a chance to make you happy. I'm not Hakeem I won't hurt you baby." Malik said while rubbing small circles on her hand with his thumb.

LaShay flipped all her hair onto her right shoulder with her free hand and replied to him

"Malik ima be honest with you. I have really deep feelings for you that just wit go away. But in my head I know that your known, everybody wants to kill you or fuck you. I truly don't want to be in the middle of all of that, and I know that you wouldn't intentionally hurt me. But them hoes that you got can persuade you to cheat...and I don't think my heart can take anymore pain." LaShay said as she put her hand in her lap.

Malik was quiet for a few seconds then spoke again.

"I don't know what to say... Theirs always gonna be somebody wanting me dead and hoes gon be hoes regardless but I'm not gonna give into them because I would know that I got something way better to come home to. This evening I had cut off all them ties with hoes, I am seriously ready to settle down LaShay. You always held me down and we didn't even go together, theirs nobody better for me than you and I understand that your younger than me and I won't ever force you to do anything that you don't want to do, but in the future I want a little me and a little you running around the house and I come home to you and ONLY you everyday. You don't understand, these feelings that I got for you I never felt before and I can't just shake em. These here to stay, I just want you to know that ima be here till the end and if you ride for me I would die for you any day.Just let me love you." Malik said while staring deep into LaShay's eyes

LaShay got up out of her seat and went to sit on his lap.

"You got me." She said then kissed him passionately while holding his face in one hand and the other around his neck.

They ate their food and chatted.Then they left the restaurant.

*LASHAY'S POV


I've only been going out with Malik for about an hour and I feel like I was just born again. I'm glad he asked me out, and I hope this relationship lasts and that I didn't make a bad choice.

We have been at the club for about an hour or so and Malik was in the VIP handling "buisness" so me and Ti"Onna were on the dance floor twerking up a storm, watching bitches hate and niggas stare in Awe at us. I'm not tripping off none of these basic ass niggas because my man look better then every nigga up in here. I got a text in my phone from Malik saying for me to come to the VIP with him and so me am Ti'Onna started making our way up their. Once we got their she sat next to Marcus and I went over to Malik and he pulled me down on his lap. And started whispering things into my ear, making me giggle and blush. After a little while he asked me if I was ready to go and I said yeah. We said our goodbyes and left out. We ended up going to his house instead of mine, he lives alone since he's grown and can support himself. We went into his room and I went into one of his drawers and pulled out one of his t-shirts Putting it on and getting into bed. He came out of the bathroom in nothing but his drawers and he got in the bed with me wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into his chest. We dreamed up our future together until we fell asleep. I felt safe in his arms, is this love?
