(WARNING!!! DEROGATORY SLURS WILL BE USED! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)

In the end it didn't matter. It didn't matter that money was tight cause of Dad's gambling habits. It didn't matter that Mom was always at work cause she couldn't stand home. It didn't matter that I was outed by my ex girlfriend. I was going back to Hogwarts. My trunk was packed, Jinx was in her cage, and I had been dropped off at Kings Cross. The smell of cigarettes and smoke filled the air, and make me cough. No matter how many times I had been here, it still got to me.  I started towards the platform, trying to avoid the people rushing for their trains.

The barrier was coming up, so I started sprinting. My body always tensed up, preparing for the impact that never came. People rushed towards the trains, Mothers calling out goodbyes and other students shoving their things onto the train. I unpacked my cart into a compartment, luckily just as the train whistled for it to leave in just minutes. I opened my herbology book, wanting to finish the chapter on mandrakes.

The train ride was uneventful, the nice trolley lady came to get me to buy food, but I waved her off; not really hungry. Three kids passed by, laughing. I could tell they enjoyed each others company. I twisted my body, eyes burning with tears I wouldn't let fall.  'It's your fault.'

I turned towards the window, eyes closing. I knew I shouldn't have, but I had to tell her sooner or later. I slowly fell into the comforting arms  of sleep, never wanting to wake up. The last thing I thought was, 'I could have stopped myself'

( Gena and I sat on the swings. The sunset was beautiful, and she had finished her flower crown, placing it o her head.

"Gena?" I asked, turning towards her.

"Yes?" She said, glancing at me.

"I-I need to tell you something."

"Go ahead! You know I won't judge you!"

"I....I'm not a girl."

She paused, and looked at me with a sneer.

"You're a tranny?" She snarled.

"N-no! I'm not a boy either. I'm gender neutral." I said amended.

"No!" She screeched. "You're just a special snowflake. Who wants to believe SHE's special! First you tell me you're a fag, which is hard enough, then tell me you're a tranny?"

I shrunk back, hurt. "I th-thought you understood?"

"Of course not! You're disgusting! Get away from me!"

I ran. And ran, and ran. Tears running down my face I ran until I couldn't anymore.)
