"LIAM MARSHALL GET OFF OF ME!" My best friend Emma Thomas shrieks, practically bursting my eardrums. Just moments before My brothers best friends had pounced on top of her and started deviously tickling her.

"Not until you say you love me!" Liam laughed with his infamous boyish smirk. Emma continued screeching like a hyena. Liam, Emma, my Twin brother, Tyler, and I had been best friends since first grade. Emma had just moved here and my brother immediately was infatuated with her, not that he would ever admit that. He begged me to befriend her so he could get to know her. I couldn't blame him; Emma was gorgeous, even as a snot covered seven year old. She had chest length fiery red hair, these adorable freckles splattered across her porcelain nose, and these amazing hazel eyes. Not to mention that she was adorably tiny, standing at only 5'1. I became friends with the fire-headed girl and as a result Tyler got to know her as well.

Tyler and I looked strikingly similar which made it pretty obvious that we were twins. We had the same raven hair, bright blue eyes, and ivory skin. Obviously being fraternal meant we had some differences; Like the fact that I️ was a good foot shorter than him at 5 feet and 4 inches. The fact that I️ was very apparently a female also helped even the most clueless figure it out. I️, Olivia Robertson, loved having a twin, not only because he was great company and we got along extremely well, but also because his friends were not hard on the eyes.

About a year later Tyler brought a friend home from school saying that he had met him at football practice. Eight year old Olivia was horribly offended that Tyler wanted to hang out with someone other than myself, but I didn't mind this boy that much after I️ realized that most boys have cooties. If you haven't caught on yet; this "boy" was Liam. For me Liam was always someone I️ admired. He was always able to enjoy life and all the while accomplish his goals. Unfortunately for me, my admiration would quickly turn into adoration. Long story short; I️ liked the kid. If you're wondering; I️ still do. I'm not desperate for his attention, but I️ do wish he would actually look at me for once. The four of us were friends. Best Friends, but friends nonetheless.

When middle school came and went Liam and Tyler became a bit too popular with the girls. Liam began sleeping around in freshman year [as did tyler but I would rather not think about that], but as a naive 14 year old I️ was still convinced that he was as in love with me as I was him. It was almost spring break of junior year and here I was still hopelessly in love with my brothers best friend.

I was suddenly jerked back into the present when I was swung over a broad shoulder.

"Oh my god! Tyler put me down! What are you doing?" I yelled at him while punching his bare back.

"Well Liv, you are wearing your swimsuit so I thought you would want to go for a swim." He said in between laughs. I could practically hear the smirk he wore in his voice.

"Tyler I swear to god If you don't put me down this instant I will rip your balls off and feed them to you!" I exclaimed as a surge of  pride swelled through me as Liam laughed at my threat.

"You want me to put you down huh?" Tyler asked menacingly. I barely had time to catch my breath before I was thrown headfirst into our large swimming pool. For a second I was suspended upside down in the water before I regained my composure and swam to the surface. I hacked up about three tons of water before I sent my best death glare towards Tyler.

"Here." Liam held out his hand so I could get out of the pool. I smirked to myself before grabbing his hand and pulling him in with me. Cliche I️ know, but how could I️ possibly resist?
He let out a less then manly yelp before he was plunged into the pool. I started giggling like a ten year old before I found Liam's hands on my waist pulling me under again. My stomach tingled where his fingers grazed my bare skin. I put my hands on his hard chest and pushed myself away from him. I swam to the surface and wiped the water from my eyes.

"LIAM!" I screeched when he surfaced. He just let out a laugh before swimming towards me.

"What? Did I upset you?" He playfully asked as he kept getting closer. I had no choice but to back away and soon enough I found myself up against the pool wall. He crept closer and closer until I could feel his warm breathe fanning my face.

"N-No." I said, my voice barely above a whisper. His eyes strayed down to my lips and out of habit I bit my lower lip. My breathing became shallow as I forced myself to look away from his eyes. His eyes were so green. I could feel his eyes lingering on my face which only caused my skin to turn a deep red.

Suddenly someone cleared their throat, interrupting us. Liam quickly sprang away from me and we both looked up to see Tyler standing there with an annoyed expression playing across his face.

"Hey Liam, bro. Can I talk to you inside?" Tyler asked. I could tell he was angry, but wasn't sure why. Liam shot me a lazy smile before sauntering out of the pool. He quickly dried off and threw on his shirt. Both of them walked inside the house leaving me outside alone.

I quickly scrambled out of the pool to go find Emma, who had disappeared inside when Liam and I were in the pool. I throw on my brothers oversized t-shirt and put my soaking hair in a messy bun as I️ scurry inside. While I pass the kitchen I hear raised voices so naturally, I eavesdrop.

"Liam I fucking told you that Olivia was off limits! All you ever do is use girls for sex and then throw them away and I'm not letting you do that to Liv cause that would fucking break her!" I hear Tylers deep voice yell at Liam.

"Why the fuck do you always think I'm gonna go after Liv?" Liam screams back.

"Seriously bro? You think I don't see the way that you look at her? You think I'm blind? Well I'm not and Liv is too innocent for you to break. You're my best friend but Liv is my sister. My twin. I can't just stand by and watch you crush her." Tyler says now in a hushed whisper.

"I won't hurt her. You know I would never intentionally hurt her. She means too much to all of us. I won't go after her like that, I..." I don't hear the rest because I sprint up to my room, not wanting to hear all of the reasons why Liam doesn't want me. I open My bedroom door to find Emma sitting on my bed flipping through my picture album. I had always loved photography. Maybe it was because I could capture memories and keep them forever, or maybe because I could take pictures of the good and leave the bad outside the frame. Emma was the only person who knew about my tacit passion, but I still didn't enjoy her looking at the pictures.

"Emma put that down!" I yell as I jump on top of her.

"Where have you been? I've been waiting for you for like 30 minutes." She asked me with annoyance. I sighed and recapped what happened with Liam in the pool. She had known about my crush on him and she was amazing at keeping secrets so I wasn't afraid to tell her.

"OH EM GEEE! LIV THATS SO CUTE!" She squealed with excitement. I sigh again and look at her hopeful face.

"Emma he doesn't like me like that. Just before I came upstairs he and Ty were fighting and Liam practically told Ty every reason why he wouldn't date me. I was eavesdropping." As soon as I say this her face falls, but then she smiles like a child on christmas morning.
"I have an idea," I groan internally because Emma's ideas rarely ever turn out well, "Amberley Richards is having a party tonight and we are going to go!" She exclaims. Amberley Richards was our school's, Burwill Academy, biggest bitch, but she threw amazing parties so everyone put up with her. All the guys loved her because she was gorgeous. She was a model and her parents were insanely rich. She was the first person Liam had ever hooked up with so I (obviously) despised her.

"Emma you know I hate Amberley. And what does a party have to do with Liam?"

"Who cares about Amberley? But anyways we're going to get you looking smoking hot to show Liam what he's missing out on." She said. I was apprehensive due to the fact that every time the four of us go to a party together the boys always end up hooking up with some random cheerleaders.

"I don't think thats a good Idea Em." I mumble.

"Oh come on! Its a great Idea! I'm gonna go tell the boys that we are going and that they have to come too!" And with that she practically flew off my bed and out the door, leaving me to wallow in my thoughts.
