Never mess with a bear

So my father and stepmother lived in the woods and one night they heard something get into the trash but we had a dog that also got into the trash so my father put his boots on and walked outside it was a black bear so my fathers outside in boots his underwear and his jacket. He got the trash cans and put them in the back of the truck and the bear was trying to get the trash and I guess noticed the passenger window was opened and my father was in the truck scared that the bear would kill him but the bear was trying to get into the truck through the window and in the house my stepmothers laughing because it's only a black bear and they don't really hurt you as long as you  don't mess with the trash but it's still a funny story since my dad thought he could take the trash down to the end of the road but he was wrong and ended up running inside for his life which was not in danger and he was upset because my stepmother was just laughing and wouldn't stop
