A/N: Hi guys <3 tried to make it longer to make up for the wait.

Yet another day went by, and now it was the glorious hours in which all the snores of the other prisoners echoed off the walls, making Jade groan every five minutes.
"This is torture," Jade grumbles, shortly after feeling a pebble pelt her arm. "Ow! What the heck?"
"Shut up," Leigh-Anne snaps.
"Oh, I'm the one making too much noise."
"Yes, now shut up." Obviously the other girl did not pick up on the sarcastic tone.
Jade grumbles quietly to herself after that, curling up into a little ball on the hard surface of the ground and closing her eyes. Leigh-Anne immediately seems to doze off back to sleep, leaving Jade in awe of how fast she could do that.
"Get up."
"Jade, I swear-"
"That wasn't me!" Jade huffs, sitting up and looking over at Leigh-Anne, who's also sitting up.
"Leigh, it's me."
Leigh-Anne and Jade both turned towards the entrance to the cell, Jesy standing there, looking worried and cautious, her eyes scanning every area around her at least twenty times before turning back to focus on the two prisoners.
"Jes," Leigh-Anne whispers, a hopeful smile blooming onto her face as she quickly gets up and hurries over to the bars. She leans herself against them, Jesy now returning the smile.
"I'm getting you two out of here," Jesy says, quietly, looking over her shoulder to make sure that the guard at the end of the hall didn't hear her.
"You're helping me?" Jade asks, getting up to stand closer to the two, but still giving them their space because obviously there's some tension between them right now (she feels like the awkward third wheel).
"Either I get you out, or I behead you. Your pick."
"Ah, yes, I quite like my head, so I prefer to keep it, thank you."
"Jade ordered an execution?" Leigh asks.
"Yeah, crazy right? That's why I'm getting a bad feeling about her. She's been different ever since this one's entered the village, but I don't think it's a change for the better."
"Wait, but why are you letting me free? Isn't she gonna kill you when she finds out you helped me?"
"I'm not going with you guys." Leigh-Anne whimpers, frowning, and Jesy just smiles sadly at her before looking back at Jade. "If anything I'll catch up with you later, but you'll have a better advantage if I stay back and watch Jade from here. I don't know what's going on, or who you are...but I have a feeling you're here for a reason. She thinks she's protecting the princess from you, but I think it's you that has to protect the princess from her."
"What's the plan?" Jade was in, one hundred percent. She may be stuck in this place for a while, so she might as well get rid of her enemy while she's at it. Plus, might as well become a hero.
"You and Leigh-Anne escape the castle and run into the woods. I'll have to send a specialist team after you for the night, but Leigh knows how to handle them. Get past them, and then just keep running to wherever your feet take you. Jade won't stop until she finds you, I'm sure of it, so we'll meet again eventually. Meanwhile, I'll be back here, trying to distract her and keep you guys as safe as possible."
"You'll be alright?" Leigh-Anne asks.
"Of course, I'm a knight." Leigh frowns in confusion as she watches Jesy pull out her sword and push it towards her. "And so are you."
