Ashley's pov
Looking around I take a step back and Retrace my steps once more trying to remember what happened. Looking around I see a figure standing by a tree staring at me. I do a double-take to make sure I'm not going crazy. (Idk about this but I'm gunna wing it) I rase my hand to wave at the figure (yeah she's crazy ok). The figure turns around and walks into the woods I look around once more before I walk after the figure. Walking passed the trees I see the figure more closely he was tall,thin and pale skinned. He had green eyes and brown curly hair. he also had a few tattoos up and down his arms. he had black ripped jeans and a plan white tee. As we looked at each other he smiled half heartedly and started to speak
"Have you heard the saying curiosity killed the cat" he spoke slowly and quietly but it was fierce and harsh. His eyes looked in to mine more fiercely and slowly changed color. His eyes were now a golden yellow. "go back now" he whispered. I looked at him eyes wide with fear. A chill runs up my spine then I felt myself run. I ran till I couldn't feel my legs no more and till my lungs would burst at any moment. I feel myself miss a step and fall.trying to get up but it was all distorted. I heard something in the distance it was quick. Foot steps. I look to my left on the ground I see him walking to me. I try to get up on my feet but fall back down from sheer pain. I look down to see that my ankle was twisted. Closing my eyes I wince in pain as I felt my body be picked up and pinned against a tree. I open my eyes to see his fierce yellow eyes. Tears now in my eyes fearing what would come...I black out
(Time skip)
Waking up I find myself in my bed. I looked to see my familiar purple walls and my black carpet floor. I try to get up but cry in pain. I move my blankets to find my ankle in a brace. I look up to a noise of a door opening to see my roommate Courtney. She's been with me ever since her mother took me in. So to be forward she's my step sister best friend. Courtney had a tray of chocolate chip pancakes, a cup of milk and a big chocolate bar. She looked worried but hid it with a smile.
"So..." She said Walking over to my bed side her hands shaked as She looked down at the tray in her hands as of scared "h-h-here" she stuttered putting down the try of food on my lap. She acted strange the whole time she just starred down at her hands playing with them.
"Court what's wrong?"I asked but she never answered. She just got up and left with the tray. Before she closed the door she said "Good night " and something else I couldn't quite get. I lay down confused falling asleep in the process.
