"So what you're saying is that you're leaving in an hour and this is the last time we'll see each other" Edwin asked.
"unfortunately yes" I replied.
Edwin just stood up from my bed and ran his fingers through his hair while pacing back and forth.
Edwin stopped when he saw my mom by my door. "Addison it's time to leave do you have everything?"
"yes mom I do"
"I know it's hard but you need to say you're final goodbyes okay, and I'll meet you in the car."
"Well guys this is it" I told them.
We walked downstairs and out to my driveway where my mom was talking to Zachs mom.
I went down the line the boys made and gave each of them a hug.
but when I reached Edwin, it was different.
I kissed him.

I walked to the car, not looking back. my blonde hair blowing in my face while I got in.
mom started the car and we pulled out of the driveway and made our way to the airport.
