I found out about Misophonia when I watched on of Rhett and Links videos about Misophonia
Some of the sounds I hate are
Lip smacking
The fizzing of soda
Whispering
Chewing soft foods
Clicking your tongue
Gurgling
Etc.Just to clear this up, you do NOT have misophonia if you get annoyed by sounds like the ones above. When I hear those sounds, I feel like there is something heavy on my chest, I get really uncomfortable, I could scream at any moment, and I start jerking my legs around. It usually takes me about 5 - 8 minutes to calm down completely.
When I watched Rhett And Links video, I looked in the comments (you can find me there, I'm Amelia P---sho) and a lot of people were saying stuff like
"Omg, I have misophonia! When someone smacks their lips I get so annoyed!" <--- that does not mean you have misophonia
This does
" when Link did the duck one, I had a panic attack"Can you see the difference?
Also, on my Instagram (Harry.Potter.Drawings) I posted about Misophonia and I basically wrote the same thing. My "website" is a misophonia quiz, and please be truthful, don't just say you have misophonia to get attention.
Because not many people have (I will comment the percentage)
But yeah, it's late where I live so I shall sleep
Bye!
