Darcy P.O.V I got kinda bored sitting around all day so I decided to try something new like painting. My dad found me a old paint set that he found when he was out scavenging and he said that I will find something to do with it. So I set it up in my room and looked up a few pictures on my phone till I came across that right one of a picture of a baby angel with curly brown hair. I chosen that picture because I always loved Angels by how beautiful they are and how majestic there wings looked in the sun in pictures. After I got the paint set and paints up I got my phone and then got right to work. It's been 4 hours and I haven't left my area of the room, not even to use the bathroom or eat and I guess my dad noticed because he came to see what I was doing. "Darcy I haven't seen you in hours I wanted to see what you were up-." My father was cut off after I finished the finishing touches on my work. "Darcy you painted this." he asked shocked. "Yeah I guess." I say sheepish. "Wow I just can't believe it when did you start painting it takes people years to get to your level." Said my father. "Actually I started today." I said still sounding sheepish. "Wait so how did you do this." He asked still amazed. "All I did was look at the Angel suppression." I said. "What do you mean suppression?" He asked still curious. "I mean look at the her eyes father her eyes are filled with curiosity and wonder and her blank smile it shows she is ready for what ever comes her way, so when you see what the face is saying draw it then add color that suits her." "Wow Darcy you are definitely-." He said till I cut him off. "Yes father I know I'm smart you tell me every day." I said knowing what he was going to say. "Actually I was going to say gifted you are gifted for a 13 year old you know a lot and apparently you have a amazing gift never let that gift slip." He said before walking out. Never let that gift slip I don't know what he meant by that but one day I will. I took one glance at my art before leaving it to dry and then thinking what I was going to do with it.
