"I like it baby it's dope", I smiled. Jacyeon has been writing raps for a week now and his flow not bad at all. I finished chopping up the steak for pepper steak and rice tonight. Cali, the twins walked in the kitchen and sat on the bar stools. Hayden sat on Jacyeon's lap. "Daddy?", Cali said while playing with Halem who was wide awake. "Yea babygirl wassup", he closed the notebook and grabbed a water bottle. "We want a puppy", she gave out a set of hazel puppy eyes. He looked at me while I looked away. "Jen go get the door", Carlos called from the kitchen. I paused my pandora and walked to the door. I opened it and smiled. "Are you Jenessa Taylor?", the tall skinny black lady asked. I nodded and smiled once more. "Yes how may I help you?", I stood. "I am Carol from the child protective services, basically a social worker. We have some calls about this address. We can not tell who has made these reports.", she announced. My smile faded. "Uhm ma'am my baby is perfect", I grabbed him carefully kissing his forehead. "I know you guys are young and people don't want you to do good but let me just take a look at handsome guy", she smiled. I stripped him down all while crying. Carlos was pissed off and his legs were bouncing fast. I stood back while she checked Ayden. She laughed and looked at me. "He's a fresh baby, I don't need anything else",she clicked her pen and redressed him. "We will send a notice in couple weeks so this can be dismissed. We can't see anything because he is a fresh newborn still trying to catch his color and pigmentation he can scratch himself in the face we can tell most babies do. He will have heat rashes and all so we can't know for sure. The notice will state what you need to do to get rid of this. Any questions?", she finished and looked at both of us. I shook my head no and Carlos just looked at her. I locked the door once she left and dropped to the ground. "Be still Kaitlen", I popped her legs. She started whining and moving more. I was putting ponytails in her hair so we could go to Layly's cookout. It was going to be a lot if people. "Kaitlen cut it out before I beat yo ass", I braided the last braid and put a barrette on it. I laid her baby hairs and got her dressed. I was being plain today I put my jet black hair in a low ponytail with a hat, I put on some high waisted shorts, a plain white shirt with my gold cross necklace, with gold sandals. I put on nude matte lipstick with mascara. Once I was done I grabbed my purse and left my apartment. I wasn't balling but I wasn't broke. I worked as a nurse in the same hospital as Layly. "Kaitlen mommy has to go to walmart", I said looking in the mirror. I texted Troy telling him to meet me at Walmart. We have this "friendship" that no one would understand. Something like friends with benefits. He would stay at my house at times and we would hang out sometimes fuck.
I put Kaitlen in a cart and waited for Troy. I was texting Layly on my phone when Troy walked all up on me. "I mean you only 20 minutes late Troy", I gave him the cart. He played with Kaitlen and bugged me while in the store. "Say mommy stop tripping Katebabe",he told Kaitlen. "Nono be bad mama",she pointed to me. I laughed and punched Troy in the back. "I'm sueing", he held his back. I flicked him off and grabbed me a water. Troy grabbed it drinking some at the cash register. "All together", the middle aged woman asked. I smiled and nodded my head. I looked at Troy to pay he grabbed a hundred dollar bill and told her to keep the change. "Troy we have to tell them", I sighed looking at him put the groceries in my trunk. "Okay we will when i'm ready", he closed the trunk and gave me a hug and some money for Kaitlen. I don't need his money and I spend it on her even tho I got money and get child support it still goes to her.
Since he wanted to play I can play to. I called one of my cloeses male friends. His name was Bryon but his street name was killa. We used to mess around but nothing on that level. "Wassup Erica baby",he answered the phone. "Come to a bbq with me Killa pleaseeee", I begged. "Nothing more nothing less",he said then hung up. I rolled my eyes and pulled into Layly's house. I could see Troy's car already here I smirked and did a chuckle. Killa pulled up about five minutes later and helped me with the bags. I kissed his cheek and grabbed Kaitlen hand. "Bitch I missed yo cute asss",! I grabbed Layly's ass that had gotten bigger since she had all them kids. She pushed me and grabbed Kaitlen. "Hey auntie's baby",she kissed her a couple times. Killa walked in the house and stood there. Layly looked like she saw a ghost once he came in. He looked back at her and turned his head. I let it slide and put the bags in the kitchen. "Erica when you gone have another baby?", Cali came and asked me. She was too much for all if us. I laughed. "Ain't there enough kids baby girl?", I asked. It would be nice to have another baby but every since Kaitlen I didn't want another baby. She shook her head and walked outside. Harlem came in and had Kaitlen in his hands. He sat down and played with her. "Auntie I got a luh boo", he said looking at me. I laughed he was only in eighth grade. "ERICA WHAT THE FUCK"!, I heard Troy's voice.
