Chapter 1

WESTON'S POV
I want to propose to Miranda. It's been 7 years today. I can't believe we lasted this long. I seriously want to be with her for the rest of my life. I've got it. I'm gonna do a scavenger hunt. I get out of bed careful not to wake Miranda up. I get dressed and I leave her a note saying I'm going to do some shopping.
   I go to the store to get some cards and balloons. I go back home and I write little notes on each of them telling her to go to the places I want her to go. Pink, Starbucks, Target, our old middle school, and the park, then I out Will You Marry Me? in the balloons. I leave again to go to a little shop downtown and I get her a dress. I go back home and I call Angel. I tell her to come to the house and give Miranda the balloon, card, and dress.
She agrees and I leave to go to give the places I want her to go the cards and balloons to give to her when she arrives. I contact all my friends and family and all her friends and family. They all meet me down at the park. Soon, I'm done doing that, then I go pick up the engagement ring and then I head to the park.
At The Park
I'm finally at the park and mostly everyone is here. "Hey, I got rose petals. I figured you would want to use them" my mom says. "Yes. Thanks mom" I say. I take the rose petals and I make a pathway from the entrance of the park to where everyone is lined up to make a path. I got a text from Angel saying that they just left the middle school. They should be here any minute now.
Soon Miranda arrives. I see her in the dress I bought her and her hand is covering her mouth. She walks up to me. I get down on one knee and I say to her. "Miranda Broady, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, ever. I don't want to lose you. We have been together for 7 years now, which is crazy. I love you Miranda, I really do. Now, will you marry me?" I say. She is crying now. "Yes" she manages to say. I put the ring on her finger and we kiss. Everyone leaves and we just go back to our place.
"I can't believe it Weston. We are engaged" she says to me. "Me either. I can't wait for that day. Our wedding day" I say. "I know" she says. "This ring is beautiful" she adds on. "Beautiful like you" I say. She just laughs. Once we get to our apartment, we really just order pizza, and watch Netflix. This is my kind of date, just sitting here, eating pizza and watching Netflix, with the girl I love.
She soon falls asleep on me. So, I pick her up and take her to our room. I lay her down on the bed and put her under the covers. I go back to the living room to clean up the mess and then I go to the room and get in bed. "I love you Weston" she mumbles. "I love you too Miranda" I say back and I kiss her forehead. She cuddles up next to me and we fall asleep.
