I sighed to myself as I unpacked my dorm.

This was, in fact, my first year of college.

I huffed and wiped my sweaty palms on my pants and took a seat.

This was it.

It was actually happening.

I'm at college!

The rooms were small, but big enough for two people.

Suddenly, the door bust open and a girl fell into the room, with her belongings piled on top of her.

"Oh my gosh!" I covered my mouth, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just fall down and throw my stuff on top of me for fun," she replied, brushing herself off.

"Here, let me help," I offered as I lifted her bags off the floor.

She sighed and offered me her hand, "thanks. I'm Gwen."

Gwen was tall. Like SUPER tall. No, you don't get it- she was practically a tree. She had long blonde hair and small, pale green eyes. Her facial features were thin and sharp, as was the rest of her body, but she was still beautiful.

Her clothing was modest, though.

She wore a button up, floral, Peter Pan collared shirt with jean shorts that went down to her knees and navy blue TOMS.

I smiled back at her, "I'm Felicity."

I wasn't very pretty. I was short, with poopy brown eyes that matched by poopy brown hair with some natural blonde highlights from the sun.

I was plain, to say the least.

"Which bunk do you want?" She snapped me out of my thoughts.

"I could honestly care less."

"Then you take the top. I don't like the idea of sleeping too high off of the ground."

We smiled at each other and helped one another unpack.

"So," Gwen began, "school starts in 2 days. Wanna go get our schedules?"

"OMG! Yes! Quick, lets go," I grabbed her arm and pulled her through the labyrinth of hallways.

I nimbly dodged students.

Some had about one or two suitcases, whereas it looked as if others were trying to lug their entire house along with them.

But, one boy caught my eye.

He had a crew cut, the perfect shade of blonde, and deep brown eyes- a much better color than mine.

The kind of guy every girl would fall for.

He was tall, too. And muscular, might I add.

"Oh, that's Trent Baker," Gwen caught me, "He's the school jock, and the nicest guy. Every relationship he has lasts at LEAST two to three months."
