It started with a milkshake.  Her name was Sarah. She was sitting at the table reading a book at a booth in the diner. She was by herself. She looked cute in her outfit and I wanted to talk to her. She had chestnut coloured brown hair in a ponytail held together buy a light pink hair tie with white polka dots.  She had a soft pink cardigan over a white shite and her skirt was a soft pink as well. Her shoes were hot pink and white stripes and the looked very adorable. To me, she looked like the type of girl I wanted to date. She had a heart shaped face, hazelnut brown eyes a button nose and a pink mouth that look soft and perfect for sweet kisses. She was sitting by the window and I noticed that she was reading Drama by Raina Telgemeier. I was waiting for another girl named Cloe but I didn't think she was going to show so I slowly and cautiously walked up to her booth and slipped into the empty seat in front of her. Her beauty was even more breathtaking up-close. I was already in love.  I put my hand up to the get the attention of the waitress walking by. Her brown hair was in a bun and she wore a soft yellow uniform dress with and apron around her waist. The was flour on the apron so I knew she had made fresh pastries for the costumers. ''What can I get ya' hot stuff?'' she winked playfully. ''Two milkshakes please.'' ''What kind you want, honey? We got chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.'' '' Two strawberry with cool wipe and cherries on top please!'' he said. At this time, Sarah had saved her place in the book with a turquois bookmark and set the book down. ''Comin' right up.'' the waitress said before smiling at Sarah and walking away.

She started to look at me but she still hadn't said anything. I saw her look at me as if she was trying to inspect me but I couldn't blame her. To her, at the time, I was a stranger who just random showed up at her booth. It made me feel self conscious and a lot of thoughts ran threw my mind. Will she like me? Am I even likeable? What if she hates me? Does she even like milkshakes? Do I look okay? Oh gosh I really hope I look okay. I had on a light green shirt with a dark green cardigan and jeans that weren't dark or light blue, but somewhere in between I had dark green eyes and full brown hair with a few blonde streaks in it  . ''Hi, I'm David. I saw you sitting over here alone and I wanted to get to know you.'' Our waitress came back with our milkshakes. They were in the old fashioned milkshake glasses. They had wiped cream and a cherry on top with a white and red striped straw sticking out of the cream. She placed on in front of Sarah and then me. ''There ya' go. Enjoy.''    ''Thanks.'' Sarah said smiling. The waitress left and now it was just Sarah and I. ''I'm Sarah.'' she said to me. ''I'm new in town and my aunt suggested that I come here. I'm glad she told me to.'' she said this and then took a sip of her strawberry milkshake. I took a sip of mine. It was good and told myself to leave our waitress a tip before leaving. ''So... how's your milkshake?'' I said trying to start a conversation. We hadn't talked much but I had already liked her. she replied ''It's really good! Thanks for getting me one.'' And then I asked her, ''Do you want to go out with me? I know its weird and we just met but I already really like you and you're just the girl I can picture myself marrying one day and-'' she leaned over the table and kissed my with her soft pink lips.
