they stole the words from her throat
and now she can't even try to speak
she tried to write on paper
but they're taking away what she needs
they are the gods of destruction
she's the queen of her kingdom
and everyone knows the winner
they just refuse admission
afraid of both, the gods and the kingdom
the gods will win 'cause she's just a mortal
but she won't stop, won't give up
not until her heart stops beating
until the rose of her lips dies down to a blue
until every cell gives up resistance to the body
and her s o u l will f l y away
to the c l o u d s.
