The sun shone among the village, giving them warmth. Many of the monsters went outside just to take in the beautiful sun. It has only been a month since Frisk had lead them out of the underground. They still hadn't been able to take it for granted yet.
In their house, Toriel was baking a snail pie (even though Frisk didn't really have a taste for snails but she didn't mind) and Sans lazily laid in his bed, texting his brother Papyrus. Papyrus had got a job at Undyne's new restaurant. It was an Italian place and was very popular and visited by the monsters and Frisk a lot.
Flowey sat on the windowsill looking out. He was implanted in a flower pot and couldn't move. Frisk often took him out for walks.
"Hey, Flowey." Toriel bent down on her knees. "Would you like some snail pie?" She held a slice of snail pie on a China plate.
"Blech, it looks disgusting." Flowey looked away.
"FLOWEY!" Frisk shouted.
"I mean umm... No thanks, mum." Flowey frowned.
Toriel sat next to Frisk and offered her some pie. "Are those classes paying off?" Frisk asked.
"I don't know. He's only been at them for two weeks. Even though he can't feel anything, but Sans is trying to work out a way to fix that." Toriel smiled.
"Sans? He's too lazy to do anything like that." Frisk said.
"Hey! Watch it, kiddo!" Sans growled, walking into the room. "Hey, if you want, I can show you what I've been working on."
"Okay." Frisk smiled and took Sans' bony hand.

As they arrived in his lab, a watch-looking thing on a wooden table caught Frisk's eye.
"This is it. It's a timeline shifter. I'm trying to use it to try and fix them. At the moment they're sort of wonky. Not themselves. This also triggers alternate universes. Haven't tried it yet. Just don't tell anyone yet, okay?" Sans explained, addressing the watch. Frisk nodded as she understood the skeleton. "Toriel might be worried. You better go back. Tell her I'm busy and I'll be there soon."
Frisk waved goodbye and found her way out.
