Shadow knew love was a killer. She has been told all her life not to fall in love, because you'll end up a broken person. She always agreed to never fall so hopelessly in love that she went numb. But deep in her heart she had hope. It couldn't be true. I mean sure, she had seen all her friends go through heartbreak and suffering, but all love couldn't be like that, right? No matter what she agreed to, deep down she knew it couldn't be true. Love was such a wonderful thing for so many people, she knew it could be the same for her. But was she oh so wrong.
