"If we're going to go to the concert, I'm going to need your money for the tickets now," my best friend, Ebony, told me, giving the look only she could, 'give me the money-or else'.

I rolled my eyes at her. She's so cheesy sometimes. "Ebony! You know I can't get you the money until after work. Meet me at 6 o'clock, my shift ends then."

"And I'll give you mine then, too," Abri, my other best friend added. I don't get why she's going to the concert with us, she absolutely cannot stand One Direction.

Ebony knows this and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. That's fine!"

I checked my watch and groaned. Almost noon and almost time for my shift to start. "Sad face! my shift starts in fifteen."

"I can drop you off on my way to Kenton's, is that okay with you?" Abri asked me.

I nodded and Ebony rolled her eyes. She doesn't really get along with Kenton, giving that he fucked and dumped her. "Mind dropping me off at my brothers? Stacey needed my help setting up the nursery and Michael's been working late, trying to get everything done before the baby comes." Ebony asked.

"No biggie!" Abri smiled and we headed over to the checkout.

After waiting in line behind a girl who really shouldn't have been wearing those yoga pants, I stepped up and placed my bow and t-shirt on the counter. "Thank you for shopping at Forever 21, find everything okay?" I nodded. This guy was seriously gay. I'd have to remember that and bring Asher here to meet him. "$24.58 is your total."

I handed him $25.00. "Keep the change."

He smiled at me. "Thank you! And thank you for shopping at Forever 21."

"Your welcome!" I took the yellow bag from him and waited for Ebony and Abri to purchase their items. I wandered over too a mirror and put my new bow in, securing the clasp I gave it a slight twist. Not quite perfect yet... Abri came up behind me and fixed it so it sat just right in my straightened blonde hair. She pulled one side of my hair behind my shoulder and stood back to admire her handiwork. She was in cosmetology school, studying to be a hairstylist, so she was always doing mine and Ebony's hair.

We want out to Abri's shiny silver Mustang and I threw my bags in the trunk, racing Ebony to the passenger seat. "Beat you bitch! Hashtag track probs!" I told her, then burst out laughing.

"Jesus Alaska. You have problems," she said under her breath, but instill heard. Ebony slid into the backseat and Abri climbed into the driver's side.

I cranked up the heat, but it wasn't doing anything to ward off the late October chill.

I shivered.

"This is it girls. were going to die death by a cold fucking car!" Ebony announced, making Abri and I laugh.

A few moments later the heat started to kick in. Abri started driving. I looked in the mirror. There sat Ebony, smiling at her phone, then she pulled out her credit card, and typed in a number. 'OMG she's ordering the tickets,' I thought.

Ebony was in college studying art. It surprises most people, but if you know her, you know how into art she is. She has this amazing auburn hair that she wears in a bob, and she always wears the best clothes. Ebony has this edge to her, but she's the biggest hearted person I've ever met.

Abri interns at the best salon around. She's a hair genius, if that's even a thing. She's constantly changing her hair colour, caramel, brunette, a vibrant red. Every boy she's ever met has fallen madly in love with her. Abri doesn't even notice it.

Then there's me. Boring old Alaska. My mom named me after the state she met my dad in. More on my dad later - maybe. Anyway, I'm in college too, majoring in criminal psychology. you already know I have blonde hair, but that doesn't mean I'm not smart. I'm pulling all As' in school and was my high school's salutatorian. I act blonde sometimes, I'm a class A directioner, and my main goal in life is to go from my 1K followers on Instagram to somewhere in the insta-famous department. now you know everything about me (that you need to know anyway)!

"Alaska, it's your stop." Abri yelled at me.

"Have funnnn at work babe!" Ebony called.

I exited the car and turned around. waving, I called to them, "see you later my boos!" I turned back around and headed into Starbucks. Yes, I work at Starbucks, coffee all the time!

"Alaska!" Jenna called from behind the counter. "I thought you were going to be late. But your here!!"
