Chapter 08

"I'm sorry, you could not meet her because of me," Rea states as they walk outside of the hospital.

"Nah, it's no one's fault. It's her medicines, it will take her system time to absorb it and may be next time we visit she will be awake" Kyle replies as they stand in front of the bike.

"Hopefully" Rea sighs as she stares at the helmet in thought.

"Hop up" Kyle shakes her away from her thoughts and jiggles the keys in his hands.

"I better if I did not want to get molested all through the way back home" she chuckles getting behind him on the bike.

"Whatever, you enjoyed my touch" he replies making her laugh.

The drive back home is filled with more teasing and joking between them, and Rea feels light hearted enjoying the trip back home with Kyle.

As they reach their building, Kyle slows the bike before completely turning the engine off.

"Are you not coming up?" she asks when he makes no move to get off the bike.

"No, I have to go back to work. Can I take your bike, promise to repair it for free if any damages?" he requests.

"Seeing how you brought me in here safely, I can trust you a little bit on the safety of my bike...

Just don't break my trust," she warns him.

"Noted my Lady and if you may can I go back to my job to save the entire motors clan?" he asks bowing his head at her.

"You may my great warrior, go save some motor parts and victory shall be yours" she replies with a serious face.

"What may be my reward be if the victory is mine?" Kyle asks.

Rea without a second thought steps closer to him and kisses his cheek as she whispers him a goodbye and runs inside of the building while Kyle keeps grinning.

Rea paces back and forth in her room waiting in for Kyle to show up, even if she wanted to wait for him in his house, she could not as she was too nervous.

When the sound of her bike is heard, she jumps to the window and smiles widely watching Kyle step off of the bike, so she hurries out of her apartment and towards the elevator to give him a grand welcome.

She keeps counting on the elevator as it changes the number, and when it stops on their floor, she smiles and goes to greet him.

As the door opens, all of her excitement dies at the sight in front of her.

"Take another one," the woman inside of the elevator says breathlessly as she once again continues to kiss Kyle who just stares at Rea blankly.

When the door of the elevator closes, Rea cannot make herself walk away as she stares at the closed door and the scene plays in her mind.

Where the woman she had never seen had her legs wrapped around Kyle's waist and was kissing him like her life was depended on that mere kiss.

Having bit of her sense back Rea walks away from the hallway and back into her apartment, even if she could not forget the scene, she saw she keeps her door wide open in hope that Kyle will rush inside to explain to her that what she saw was wrong.

However, no such thing happened even when she waited for him with her door and heart open all through the night.

Moreover, much to her disappointment, Kyle did not return to his room that night.
