Lavender Warmth

The autumn breezes are blowing all around. Everyone around her are dressed as warmly as her. Painted on her soft cheeks is a dusty pink because of the harsh cold. Breathing out a sigh and watching the white air dissipate, the girl takes out her phone and checks the time. "5:29. He better not be late..." As she puts away her phone she can hear the heavy steps of running from a far. Looking in the direction of the sound, she can make out raven black hair in the distance. Smiling gently she lets go of a breath and slowly walks towards him.

"Ahhh! Shinoa sorry I came late", the boy said. Shinoa could only roll her eyes at him. "Jeez Yuu-san don't keep a girl waiting in the cold", she said as she cutely pouted. Scratching his cheek, he nodded and reached down to hold her hand. "Again sorry to keep you waiting", Yuichiro said with his boyish grin plastered onto his face. Shinoa lightly turned a shade of red as he grasped her hand but she decided to ignore it. "Let's go then"

After a while of the two walking aimlessly around, they decided to sit down on a bench for a bit. Shinoa, closed her eyes quietly to enjoy the warmth of her scarf. It was actually a present from Yuu last year. A simple black scarf, with green flower designs. She smiled at the thought and continued to enjoy the silence until..."Hey Shinoa can you move your scarf onto your shoulder?" Confused by the request she turned to him. "Ok but why Yuu-san?" In that moment after she did what Yuu asked, he leans his head on her shoulder. The sudden contact made her blush a brilliant rose and Yuu could only respond with, "I'm really tired..."

"Yuu-san..." She tried waking him up but it was no use. Sighing all she could do was sit there and at least enjoy the moment. Onlookers saw them and a couple of comments reached her ears such as, "so cute" and "the boy must be very happy". Looking down as her blush continued to bloom on her face all she could think about was, "God this is embarrassing..."

After 20 minutes, Yuu finally woke up. Stretching and yawning he looked over at Shinoa who seemed to have fallen asleep as well. Poking her cheek, she stirred a little and could only give back a cute response. "...5 more minutes..." Laughing quietly at her antics Yuu just kept poking until he decided to kiss the top of her nose an she woke up with a start. "E-eh Yuu-san..?" Smiling he responded, "You needed to wake up, we should really start walking home" Nodding in reply, Yuu smiled again and took her hand in his.

Walking home was peaceful in itself but soon enough wind picked up and it started dropping a couple of degrees. Shinoa was ok with her coat and scarf but Yuu only had a black hoodie with fingerless gloves. Shinoa could feel him shaking in her hand. Frowning, she abruptly stopped and tugged on his hand. "Huh? Shinoa, why'd you stop?" She started taking off her scarf and decided to wrap it around his neck although not without problem since their height difference is pretty big. "Eh Shinoa it's ok you need it more than me", she could see the tips of his ears spark in an apple red. "But you're also cold and the last thing I want is for you to get sick" she insisted. Sighing Yuu finally came up with a compromise. "Then how about this...?" Taking off most of the scarf but at least enough to be secure around his own neck he went down and wrapped the rest around Shinoa's neck. "There we go snug as a rug" Both were lightly blushing since the two were sharing the scarf but it was also because of the warmth they felt from each other.

"Hey Shinoa?"

Shinoa can be quite stubborn sometimes...

Looking over she asks, "Yes Yuu-san?"

....but that's why he loves her

"You smell like lavenders"

And her lavender warmth.

Hey people I am back with a new yuunoa one shot. Yeah I know it's been a while since the last one but I finally came up with this. I also want to give a shoutout to yuunoaforlife13 thanks for your shoutout to me a week ago. All week I've been thinking of new ideas for a yuunoa shot because of that so thank you. Also p.s I may be the king of yuunoa, but what is a king without his subjects? Nothing! All the yuunoa fics I've read (including yours) gave me my inspiration to writing my own and that's how I've gotten here today. So again thank you and I hope all who have read have a good day! ✌🏻️
