My POV:
Sunggyu and I have been best friends since kindergarten. Now, we're already teenagers. How fast time has flew. I was lying on my bed, reminiscing about all the fun times I spent with him. I remembered when we were still little kids, we kept running around the park in our neighborhood and being small, carefree children. I smiled to myself. Oh how I wished time can turn back. A sudden buzz from my phone woke me up from my train of thoughts. I looked at the caller ID, "Grandpa Salamander". I chuckled to myself and soon answered the phone, "Hey Sunggyu, how's it going?" "Nothing much." "Why did you call? Do you need something?" "Yeah. A favor actually." "What?" "Go outside." "Uhmmm, ok?" I stepped outside my house. Sunggyu's not here? Where is he? I looked down to see a pink colored envelope. I smiled. I opened it and read it aloud, "Look to your right :) -love Sunggyu :)" I smiled to myself then looked to my right. A purple colored arrow was attached to a wall which points to the right. I then turned right and saw another arrow, this time it pointed left. After passing several arrows and turning in different directions, I saw an arrow which pointed to a ladder. A note was attached to the arrow. "You do know you need to go up the ladder, right?" I laughed and began to climb the ladder. After reaching the top, my jaw dropped in awe. The rooftop was covered in small, led lights. A table was set in the middle with two chairs with it. The view was amazing. Then I began to get curious, where's Sunggyu? While I was busy looking at the view, someone suddenly tapped my shoulder. Someone was hiding behind a bouquet of roses. I laughed and then soon took the flowers from Sunggyu. "Surprise!" He said. "Wow, this is wonderful, did you do all this?" I asked in awe. "Yup!" He said proudly. He then dragged me to the table in the middle. "Just watch." He said. After he said that, all the Infinite members came absolutely out of nowhere and started singing Man In Love. They looked so handsome in suits. Haha. Then, Sunggyu made me stand up. "Look at the sky, there are so many stars!" He said childishly and I laughed. He then immediately turned into serious mode in a second. "Nicole, I have to tell you something." I tilted my head upward to face Sunggyu, yes, I'm only small. "Well, Uhmm, I....Well.." Sunggyu stuttered. "Just say it already!" Sungyeol shouted from afar. He blushed and tried again. "Nicole-ah, I....I like you" he barely said in a whisper. I still managed to get it and blushed. I was staring at the ground, not moving an inch for a minute or so. "Sigh, I knew it would ruin our friendship. I'm sorry." He then began to run away. I held him back and hugged him from behind. "Gyu~, don't worry, I like you too!" I said while blushing. He then turned around with a shocked face. "Really!" I then nodded my head. He hugged me and said "I liked you since I first laid my eyes on you Nicole, I love you actually." That last one got me. Wow. He loves me. I can't believe my crush and best friend loves me back. He then pulled away from the hug. "Why?" I asked. He then tilted my head up and kissed me full on the lips. I was shocked for a second but then I recovered and soon kissed him back. "I love you Nicole" "I love you too Gyu~" The rest of the Infinite members came out and shouted, "FINALLY! YOU CONFESSED TO EACH OTHER!" They said in unison. Gyu and I laughed together. Soon, the Infinite members left us alone to talk privately. "So, you like me?" "Yup!" He said confidently. I laughed at his sudden confidence. As we were walking back to our houses, ( we were neighbors ) he then stopped and looked at me. "What?" He then pulled me closer to him and kissed me once again, this time I reacted much faster and soon kissed him back. After we pulled away, we both chuckled at our randomness.
