Chapter 1: Meeting The Royal

Maddison's POV

"Ring,Ring,Ring!!!". I shot up from bed and fell on the floor.Groaning in pain I stood up and sat on my bed.It's now 7:00 am.

"Mads!Wake up you're going to be late", shouted my eldest brother Kyle outside my door.

"I'm up.Chill your horses!!", I shouted back.

"You won't be chilling if mom's the one who wakes you up."

I didn't reply back because I know that mom becomes monster mom when I wake up late. She will keep on ranting about me sleeping late and waking up late, and trust me you do not want to hear that. Anyways,let me tell you how special this day is, (cue sarcasm). Today is my first day in school,as a senior in East Stanford High, also known as hell. 

"Yay,...Ugh."

I stood up and took a bath. After that I went inside my walk in closet. I picked out an oversized maroon plain shirt, black pants that are way too big for me and maroon vans. I didn't bother to comb my hair because no one will even care. I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"GoodMorning Sunshine", dad greeted while reading the newspaper and drinking coffee.

"Morning dad", I said.

While I was halfway through eating my cereal,Kyle called me.

"C'mon Mads we're going to be late"

I shoved the last spoonful of cereal in my mouth and ran outside. Kyle already started his car which is a beautiful Black Audi R8. I have my own car, it's a Black and White Bugatti Veyron,but I don't drive it to school to avoid attracting attention. My thoughts were brought back to the present when Kyle said something that caught my attention.

"You know that we aren't poor right", Kyle said while glancing at me for a second and focusing back to driving.

"Yah I know", I muttered

"Then why are you wearing THAT when your closet is full of popular branded clothes?"

I thought for a second then replied, "I'm not really sure, maybe I just don't like getting the attention unlike Nikki"

Nicole Brian aka Nikki is the school's so called slut. I believe that she has slept with all the boys in school except for the nerds and the bad boys.

I didn't realize that we're in the school's parking lot already. I jumped out and said goodbye to Kyle. I walked to Scarlet and I's place under the oak tree. I saw her already waiting there like usual. She looked up and noticed me when i got nearer to our haven. She called me over,sounding thrilled...weird.

"Hey Scar"

"Hiiiiii Maddy", She said, grinning at me.
I looked at her awkwardly.

"Spill it,why are you so thrilled ?"

"I just heard like 10 mins before you arrived,thatttttt Nikki and Prince Kevin broke up."

"So what's up with that ?"

"Sooooooo he is a single pringle who's ready to mingle. "She said while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Scar *sigh* I thought we agreed on forgetting about that."

"Maddy, you know I would never forget that because that ship hasn't sailed yet." She said grinning at me.

You might be wondering what we are talking about but during our freshman year, Scar suddenly started shipping Prince and I, for a reason that I do not know. So yah, she hasn't forgotten it yet.

I heard the bell ring so I bid scar goodbye.
"Bye Scar see you later at lunch."

"Yah see ya."Then she made her way through the crowd.

Suddenly,I heard the second bell ring while I was casually walking through the halls.

"SHIT!"

While i was running to my first class which is AP Biology, I bumped into a hard wall. I looked up and realized it wasn't a wall, it's a guy and......my eyes widened because it was in fact a guy but not just any guy.

"Prince Kevin" I whispered and gulped audibly.

He looked at me with those piercing grayish blue eyes that's as if it can see through my soul. He looked me up and down and smirked and said
"Uhm Hey."

I did what any stupid and crazy girl would do. I kicked him in the place where the sun doesn't shine and ran. I heard him groan and say,

"Hey stop!"

But I didn't stop running.

"This isn't over NERD"

I ran as fast as I could.

While running I whispered to myself
"What have I gotten myself into ?"
