Amber's POV
"Another year at AGHS." i say tiredly dragging myself out of my bed, before my mum shouted my name from downstairs.
I walked into my walk in closet and picked out my outfit.
It was a grey sweater, which marked 'Love' on it, a black tights, which showed off my big booty and curves, my grey converse and a grey beanie.
After I took a shower and changed, I shoved the remaining books on my desk into my black, Kipling bag and then went downstairs.
"Oh, great you're up. I was just about to call you." said my mum placing a plate full with pancakes in front of me.
"Eat up. I'm gonna get ready for work." she said then walked out the kitchen.
So, I'm guessing dad left for work already.
After finishing my breakfast and putting the dishes in the dish washer, I checked the time and saw it was already 7:05.
"Mom! Are you ready? Remember you have to drop me to school, while my car's at the mechanic!" i shout.
"Yes, I know. Just relax we'll leave soon!" she shouts back.
I sit down in the living room and decide to browse through my phone.

Tiffany: I did
Lauren: Uk, u gonna b late 4 skl rght?
Tiffany: yh. Its the usual.

Kim: Anybody still online?

Kim: Lol. So wyd?
Amber: waiting on my mum to drop me to skl. She taking so damn long😤. Wbu?
Kim: Lol. I'm waiting on my dad and step-sis to get out the fucking house so I can go.
Amber: Oh my, poor u.
Kim: Yh😟.
Amber: My mum's ready now so I'm leaving.

"Now that I'm here you're not ready?" asked my mum adjusting her pencil skirt.
"I am." I said putting my phone in my pocket and taking my bag off the floor.
I walked outside and up to the car waiting for my mum to open it.
I went in, she turned on the A/C while I went through the radio station.
I left on Vybz FM radio station, and sang along to Ms. Set Good by Tian Winter, for the ride.
Ain't a long chp. But this is like my 4th published bk. on wattpad so... pls bare wit me.
