You woke up by the loud buzzing of your alarm clock. It could have sounded the whole house! --Not saying it didn't....
You sighed and pushed it off your nightstand, knocking the batteries out. Good enough. Not for your mother, though. She stormed into your room, slamming the door open causing you to wince. "Okay, I forgot you told me not to set it last night. I'll remember tomorrow--" "Sure you will, but not in this house. You're not going to live here any more, Y/N. I need to come home to a clean, quiet house, not having your papers and pillows scattered across the floor." She sighed and handed you a newspaper. "Some houses that are giving up a room for people like you. I recommend you change your ways before the same thing happens to you later." She said and walked or of the room as if she's released something she's been holding in for a while. It was weird; usually your mother was polite and caring. "Humph." You grunted, looking in the mirror. If you were looking for a new place might as well at least look suitable. You got dressed in normal everyday clothes; a F/C tank top and shorts with some Vans. You stared at the newspaper for a good ten minutes, giving each description a good look, then decided on the top three houses.House 1: In a neighborhood right next to an airport.
House 2: Hoarder!!
You finally arrived at house 3. It looked nice on the outside. You knocked at the door, and after hearing a 5 minute argument about who was opening the door, you were about to turn to leave, but you were greeted by a guy with a green hoodie and short brown hair. "Welcome! Can I help you?" He asked. "Oh--Sorry to interrupt whatever was happening...." You said, looking over his shoulder and pointing. "Oh, no. Those are just my friends." He says, snickering. "Oh! Right. Um, I was here to check out the room?" You said, holding up the newspaper. He gave it a good look and smiled. "That! Please, come inside!" He said, moving to the side to let you in. You saw someone laying on the couch, flipping through the channels. "Who is it." They asked, turning to see who was at the door. You flinched as you saw an average sized guy, spiked brown hair, and....black eyes. No white whatsoever. He scoffed and turned back to the TV. "Uh....that was Tom. He doesn't seem to be the nicest person in the world, but once you get to know him, he's super polite and protective." He assured you. He face-palmed himself. "Ah, where are my manners? I'm Edd!" He said, holding out a hand for you to shake. You smiled and shook hands, then followed him around again to tour more of the house. You met another person, another guy named Matt. He seemed very cheery, very full of himself. I mean, he had mirrors on every corner and angle of the room! Eh, you could live with that. You finally got a look at your own room, a nice, simple one. It had a queen sized bed, a large dresser, closet, anything you would expect a room to have. "Wow! This place is really nice." You smiled. "Would you like to think about taking the room?" Edd asked. "I--Actually think I would like to. It's a nice house with anything a house needs!" You explained. Edd smiled. "Great! I'll help you move in whenever you feel is right." "Err....my mom wants me like-out-of the house. As soon as possible. Maybe I could gather my things and move in tonight?" You suggested. "Anything's fine with me. Let me just tell Matt, Tom and Tord you'll be moving in." You cocked your head slightly. "Who's Tord?" "Oh yeah! You haven't met him. He's not here right now, but maybe later you'll get to meet him. You shrugged it off. He must be a nice person, getting to live with these three. You thought.
You drove home and packed all your belongings, ready to finally begin a new life.
