Summer POV
Spring wanted to hang out today so I put on my shoes. "See you later Fall". Fall looked up from his phone, and put it down.
"Bye". He said smiling . "I can bring food back if you want me too". I said half way through the door. "No it's fine have fun with spring, tell him I said hi". I nodded and walked out the door into the cold hallway. The hallway was the same gray blue walls with cracks. I walked down the final flight of stairs and walked out of the apartment building. It was warm and sunny today but it was still nice to walk outside. My phone started to ring in my pocket and I picked up.
"Hello".
"Hey summer are you on your way".
"Yeah yeah I'm coming".
"meet me at pho dang le".
I haven't had pho in years. "Okay I'll see you there". I hang up on the phone and started walking across the street. There were a couple little kids playing hopscotch and they looked so happy. Like how me and Fall were when we were younger. "Hey mister you want to play". A little boy said. He noticed me staring and tried handing me the rock. I smiled, his friends were laughing when I took the rock but I didn't mind.
"Okay sure". I threw the rock and it landed on 10 I jumped from 1 to 10 and back. "You did really good mister". They all said smiling. I handed him back the rock and nodded. "No problem". A lady that looked like the boys mother walked up to him. " Max what are you doing bothering this man". She said in a stern voice. "He looked like he wanted to play so I asked him if he wanted to play". He said sadly. "No it's okay miss I used to play a lot on this street when I was younger".
She looked away from her son and smiled at me. " what's your name mister". She said in a loving voice. " Summer Raze". I said calmly. "Mhm my son has taken a liking to you",She smiled. "Say do you have a job"? She asked."No not really my room mate pays the bills he works at the pet store." She nodded. "Do you want to be my sons babysitter". My eyes widened I'm shock. "Sure why not here's my number". I gave the lady my phone number and she told me she would call me when she needed it. " bye max" I said walking away. He waved and continue playing with his friends. I walked down the street until I saw spring outside of pho dang le. "Spring Spring". He looked up from his phone and smiled. "Hey summer come inside". Spring works at his family pho shop that his grandmother owns. There from Vietnam so they make pho. "I haven't been here in years". He nodded and smiled. "Soup still taste the same though." He smiled and sat down at a table. "So what did you want to talk about". I sat down across from him and smiled. " well Winter and I are dating". I eyes shot open. "REALLY". He nodded and smile. "That's a big change". He smiled, "yeah I know".
"I didn't know you were gay". Spring started to laugh. "Yep that's life". I smiled, " do you guys go on dates". He shrugged his shoulders, and sighed. "He comes to the library with me sometimes". He smiled. " that's more of a date then me and Fall we just stay home and cuddle".
The door and the back opened and out came springs grandma. "Summer how are you doing"!
She stared walking up to me and gave me a kiss. "I'm good still eating marshmallows normal Summer things". She smiled and gave me a hug. "How Fall is he still acting like him self". I nodded. " still being him self trying to stop me from over eating marshmallows". She laughed and smiled a big grin. "Do you guys want some pho". I smiled even bigger and looked a spring.
" sure grandma". She smiled and walked back into the kitchen and made pho.
*time skip*
"Fall I'm back" Fall wasn't in the living room so I walked into the bedroom. "Hey" he said, he looked like he woke up from a nap. "I went to pho dang le". He eyes widened. "With out me". He said with fake sad face. "Don't worry I brought some home for you Spring grandma told me too". He smiled and patted the bed. "Come to bed it's cold without you". I smiled and took of my shoes. "You really love me". He rolled his eyes and laid back down. "Whatever summer just come over here I miss you". I looked at him confused. "Did you make spaghetti and meatballs again". He looked at me and smiled. "Yeah I did why". I walked over to the bed and laid down.
"Because you always add sugar and you always put to much". He smiled and closed his eyes.
"Oh yeah I got a job today I'm a babysitter".
He smiled. "That's good well I'm gonna go to bed night l love you". I hugged him from behind and smiled. "Love you too".
