CHAPTER 5
When I woke up, Carl was not in his bed. I worried for a second, then I thought maybe he got up to get a glass of water. So I went back to sleep. Suddenly, I heard a distinct noise right outside my front door. I took a peek out through the mail slot and saw seven human men carrying a moving sack. I thought that maybe they were no harm, but, then I heard Carl's voice in the sack.
"HELP ME! HELP ME!" I mimicked.
I knew easily that he was in danger. I ran upstairs and awoken my dad. I told him everything that I just heard and I was a little bit shocked of how easy he took this.
"Christine." he said. "Get your wings ready!"
"O-okay!" I said with a shreik that almost woke the entire village outside.
We went to the broken window, brought out my wings, *wings flapping* and we were off into the night sky. I heard Carl near the front door, so I easily thought that he was close by the castle. My dad and I flew in oppisite directions around the castle, till I spotted Carl and the seven human men still by the front door of our castle. They were punching and kicking the bag that Carl was captuered in.
"DAD!" I shouted. "The humans and Carl are still by the front door of our castle!"
"Okay!" he shouted back. "Let's go!"
We swooped down as fast as we could until my dad was shot with a net-gun from one of the human men. I screamed at the top of my lungs which I'm pretty sure it scared them pretty badly. I looked at them and I relized that they didn't really care for my scream. They were just stuffing my dad and Carl in the back of a carrage ran by mules with not a care in the world!
As they were getting into the carrage, I grabbed hold of the back as they were riding off into the night. I was really nervous that they might hear me, so I ducked down and shut my mouth so they wouldn't get hold of me.
CHAPTER 6
It was a long and lonley night as we were riding off away from my city. I wouldn't stop staring at the lights of the city as they disappeared little by little every second as we were riding off into the distance.
As we arrived to the city, strange humans were staring at the carrage. Some of the humans were even smiling and cheering "HOORAY!" as we pulled over to a dark ally in the middle of the filthy human city.
They stopped the carrage and began pulling out the victims out of the mule-pulled carrage. There had to of been about a dozen vampires getting pulled out of that carrage. It was actually incredable!
