Evie's POV :

The cold winter air whipped the back of my shins. I ignored this intently, pressing the lobes of my ears against my headphones.

Walking to school was my only grasp of freedom, at least until I picked up Calum. Calum is my best friend, a gorgeous angelic boy with endless amounts of freckles. I am aware every girl has always wanted " a gay best friend " which I'm proud to label him.

The annoying drone of his doorbell reminded me of how close I was to the school gates, he lives just next door. Swiftly opening the porch window Calum revelled his tight black jeans and bare chest, eyeing me up and down. His inked black stomach made my eyes pop, having to quickly remind myself he was my best friend nothing more. " What are you waiting for gorgeous? " I cringed slapping his arm playfully.

*note to self - never let Calum do your eyeliner in a short space of time*

Calum's POV :

The suspense suffocated me. Her tight suit, pretty highlighted hair and stunning black heels lost me breaths. A whole new Evie had emerged from a shy, unconfident teenager to a beautiful women. Mrs Armek, our head teacher introduced Evie, ushering her to the stage where a light beamed down on her. " Hello Hallmore " the bounciness in her voice was lacking but eager eyes locked on her nevertheless.

"I'm Evie a student here at the school. Unless you've just recently joined, many of you know the problems I've been batteling through, if you dont know then make sure your comfortable.
