Chapter 10: The Cat Café

Hey guys Sugoi here. This chapter is made from the suggestion of @boysilk. She asked me to make this chapter. And I am about to continue my one-shot book.    Joey and Y/n walked to the cat café. Their café was having its 10th anniversary. In celebration for its founding, they celebrate it with the theme of cats. Since the founder of the café has loved cats until her death that she brought her cats in the café while she works since no one took care of them while she was gone, the cat loving genes have passed on for a decade. And up until now, the café still lets cats stay in the café. The customers get to play with cats as they do different activities. It was celebrated this week. They left at 6:30 a.m and arrived at 8:00. Both went to the bathroom in the back and changed. Y/n wore a short maid dress. The top was black with a white corset. Its sleeves were black, puffy, and short. The corset was a bit loose, needing assistance from her brother. The skirt was also black and short. It ended above her knees but below her thighs. She wore a white apron above the dress. Her socks were white with a black trim on the top and a black ribbon on each side. She also applied light makeup. Her h/l h/c hair was neatly fixed with a white frilly maid headband. (Idk what it's called.) She wore a black choker with a jingle bell on it with black robotic cat ears on either side of her head and a black robotic cat tail attached to lower back. She wore shiny black flats. Her brother, Joey wore a black tailcoat with a black vest underneath. The jacket had a wide opening that shows the black vest. The black vest did the same to the white button-up dress shirt. Joey wore black dress pants to match his top. He also wore black dress shoes. He has the same black robotic cat ears on the sides of his head and the black robotic cat tail attached on his lower back as Y/n's. He had a hard time doing his black necktie. He didn't bother combing his messy hair.

   They went out of the bathroom at the same time. "Need help?" They asked each other. Y/n rushed to Joey. She fixed his necktie. She quickly combed his hair to the side and used gel to keep it that way. The older boy noticed how loose her corset looked on her. He grabbed her shoulders and lightly spun here around, earning a soft gasp from her. He put her h/l h/c hair away. Pulling the strings together, he tightens it. Y/n yelps in pain. "Too tight." Y/n whispers. "It's just right." Joey chuckles. He securely ties the strings together. "C'mon let's go open this place up." Their manager and coworkers walk in.

                     ~Time Skip~

   Y/n stood by the cafe door, waiting for another customer to serve. The bell rings, signalling her that a customer has arrived. Y/n's head snapped upwards at the arrival. "Konichiwaa. Y/n-desu. I will be your maid today." She greets. "That's cute but please only wear that costume with me." The boy replies. Y/n's ear twitches at the voice that was too familiar to her. The voice that she loved too much.

   She grabs Shine by the collar and drags him out to the back. "What are you doing here?" She stomped. "That should be my question. And include the fact that you shouldn't be wearing that. Other guys could be staring at you in a way I don't like. Get out of that outfit or I'll make you." Shine firmly states. "Shine, come on. You know I'm wearing this for the café. They're depending on us servers. My boss is. Even the cats. We need money to pay the rents. My boss has been in debt. Please Shine, let me do this for the café." The girl pleads, her e/c eyes became glossy. A signal of her about to cry. Her hands were folded in front of her chest. I don't have a choice. "Fine." Shine sighed, knowing he won't be able to resist. Y/n's eyes lit up, a frown being replaced by a cheeky grin. She wraps her arms around the red-faced boy. "I don't think you should do that. You don't me to go back in with a boner, do you?" The boy states, blushing and all.

   The day went on until dawn. Y/n was helping the café close up. Joey and Shine stayed too, helping up. "Everyone, please stop what you are doing and come outside. With the cats please. And make yourselves presentable." Their boss announces. Huh? Why? Is someone important here? Ehh? Okay then. Y/n walks outside, Milo, the black rag doll cat, and Snowy, the white Persian cat, in hand. Shine, Joey, and some of her co-workers were already standing there. Shine had Munchkin cats all over him. The cats had brown coats that matched Shines hair. 3 sat on his hair, 2 sat on either of his shoulders, and he held 4 in each hands. Y/n giggled at Shines expression. He was super scared that he might drop them. "Looks like the Munchkin cats like you." She squeaked. Joey had the same situation with Shine, except with kittens. "Okay, everyone, compress. 1...2...3" The photographer counts as the camera takes the picture.
