'Veronicas pov
'Do you have to go really?'I asked.

Deep in my heart i was very sad knowing my best friend kayla was leaving the country with her parents to go study abroad ..

'Hey you know i have to go my fostermum is also working there too and the university is offering me a scholarship how could i let it go ...but i promise we will talk, skype  there is facetime ill always contact you just don't forget me."she said

I laughed while tears fell from my eyes
'You know I'd never forget you silly it will be too hard to do that,'i said.

'How do i even start coping in school without a friend you've been my only one since we were seven years old ?'i asked

'Hey there is josh and lily and ferro ' she tried convincing me

'But they are not you and i still have a lot to say to you 'i said.

'I have to go  i dont want to miss the plane and my mum keeps on blowing up my phone '

I really had a lot to tell her ,I still had not yet told her about my secret that i was different from her ..

'Bye kayla'
'Bye veronica '

We hugged as we bid each other goodbye
 
I remember that day very clearly the day she was leaving me to go abroad it had been a year

I always missed her each day and it got worse when i  had to go school even though i talked to her a week ago ...

Our ties were loosening and i thought it was the right thing since i would not have to tell her what i was
 
I rushed to class and continued with my daily routine ..
