Just then i heard a knock

'That must be Elijah 'kayla said

As i went to the door i smelt a faint sweet smell of vanilla and cinnamon
It must be in my mind

As i opened the door i knew then it just was not in my mind

'Hun you ready yet ??' Icalled out to kayla ..we were going to have dinner at her bestfriends place
She always talked about her best friend everytime
I was glad she had a chance to see her again
I was happy for her ever since i saw her in school she just draw me to her even though i knew i wasnt suppossed to be treading down this path cause i had a mate destined for me
Maybe ,I always had my doubts if i had a mate since i had been looking for her for eight years ..

All my friends had mates too i was envious
But ever since i saw kaylai decided life was short and i just had to live a little

I was thinking of telling her that i was a werewolf but i just kept on postponing but it hurt lying to her and keeping this truth from her .

'Im ready babe ,'she said as she picked her purse .

She really looked hot with the great curves ...i wished she could have been my mate and then i would not have to worry

'You look hot as always hun ' i said as i saw her blush .

I drove quietly while she told me stories about her and veronica when they were young .

Once we reached i told her to go ill come right after since i had to put some stuff in the back of the car.
I could hear her squealing ..with joy i smiled to myself .

Once i was done i went up the stairs an knocked on the door .
Just then i smelt a faint smell of sweet strawberies ..
This could not be happening right .

And as the door opened i saw her ...

"Mate,"I growled

I kept hearing those words ...i was so flabbergasted was this really happening ...

We stared at each other ...knowing the truth ...

'Hae I'm veronica the bestfriend"i said

"Hae im Elijah the boyfriend"he said as i felt a sting in my heart when he said he is the boyfriend ..even though i liked his raspy smooth voice which made my insides flutter and made me lose my stand

'Vera let him in why you keeping my boo out in the cold 'kayla said

She took his hand and introduced us as she led him to the dining table

This was not happening

Moon goddess i wanted a mate but just not this way ...

I could feel Elijah staring at me ....
We had a lot to discuss
