Prank Gone... Wrong?

Ethan's POV

"Why do I have to do it?" I asked Jose as we walked down the hall to third period. We were part of the popular crowd, I was a jock, and we were planing to prank a loner.

He was gay, the loner, and Jose thought that was the perfect way to get to him... by making him think one of us had a crush on him. I had nothing against gays, none of us did, the guys didn't care and the girls loved them. We just wanted to prank him because he was weird. He never spoke and never participated in any way, in any class, the teachers just gave up on him but he has the highest GPA in the entire school.

Chester Dense wasn't even a senior yet. He was just brilliant but not nerdy and he wasn't even that bad looking for a guy. Okay he was pretty handsome, but I would never say that out loud. He didn't come out of the closet voluntarily though, some girl asked him to the dance in freshman year and he told her he was gay, that didn't stop her though, he just ignored her til she went away and everyone left him alone.

Apparently Jose had something against him because he was the one who concocted the plan to prank him, I was not interested in being to one to tell him but Jose was persistent.

"We'll video tape it and all..... it'll be fun." he said trying to convince me.

"Fine but.... you have to pay me." I said walking ahead of him into the classroom.

Chester's POV

I hated this school, there was nothing good about it other than the gym, fully equipped and perfect to take out some steam after dealing with the idiotic population of Vulcan High.

It was like my home away from home, the gym of course. It was better than the one at my house, mine always smelled like apples even after my older brother sweat his ass off in it. I never understood that.

Weird things have happened in this school but I never expected school quarterback Ethan Gray to walk into the gym looking for me.

"There you are!" he exclaimed in fake excitement, he was up to something I could smell it on him. I was really good at reading people, their expressions and posture gave off a lot about what was on their mind and I was good at picking up on them.

I turned silently to him, not making a sound or saying a word. I never spoke at school and I was not going to start for him.

He probably figured that and spoke," I have something to tell you... I.... I-I like you!"

I began laughing, out loud, and really loud. Was he serious? He really thought he could pull one over on me. I thought to myself as I continued to laugh, doubling over clinching my stomach laughing.

Ethan's POV

He was laughing, this was not how it was suppose to go. He was suppose to be shocked, pleased, ecstatic.... not amused.

Prank aside, him laughing actually hurt, I had no idea why but it did and I was confused.

"I can't believe you... you aren't even that good an actor and the next time your friend wants to video tape it, don't make it so obvious by purposely leaving the door open." he said and I almost moan at the sound of his voice. I never heard him speak before and it was so.... sexy.

I never said that about a guy before and this entire situation was getting weird. Soon Jose decided it was a good idea to walk inside completely seeing as how the prank was ruined.

"Jose, really, you made this up, didn't you?.... All in the name of pay back. It was a one time thing with us and you knew that, you were the one who decided that was how it should be. Now you're holding a grudge." he said still amused, when the affect his voice had on me wore off, his words sunk in. It made me angry to know he had something with Jose even if it was just a 'one time thing'.

"I told you I changed my mind, I told you I wanted more.... I couldn't take not having you all to myself." Jose said on the verge of crying. This was messed up I was here getting jealous of Jose and Chester's past and Jose was getting emotional.

"I wasn't interested in a relationship with a self absorbed prick. Any attraction I had towards you was strictly physical."

"You weren't saying that when I had my dick in your ass or when you had yours in mine." Jose defended and I flinched at the statement, not because it was two guys but because it was Chester. He was affecting me and I didn't like it.

"Know what Jose, Ethan, I'm giving you two thirty seconds to get out my face, and I'm not feeling merciful today." Chester was actually intimidating when he said that, the way he went from amused to utterly serious had my defenses on alert.

"I'm not going anywhere til we work this out... I still want you, Chester, no one else can compare to you... I just can't stop thinking about you."

It came so fast neither of us saw it, not when he lifted his feet nor when it connect with Jose's face. I was stunned and so was Jose... Chester had just delivered a perfect spin kick to the side of Jose's face. Unfortunately for us he was not done and next he landed me right in the nuts. Let's save a lot of time and say I left the gym that day rather beaten and bruised.

Keep in mind though, that no matter how many times he beats me, hurts me or insults me... my heart still falters at the sound of his voice, my body lights up and I feel all tingly inside. It certainly wasn't over between us.
