The Past
Patrice took out a big suitcase sat it on the bed and began to pack her clothes. "I can't take this shit no more." She said screaming at Sammy. How many damn times I have to tell you I didn't sleep with that lady. She came onto me. Sammy said. Patrice knew she couldn't stay with Sammy anymore but she hated the fact that she had to leave her kids behind. "I want a divorce." she said crying. After twenty years of marriage and three kids together she couldn't wrap her head around it. The man she loved stepped out on their marriage. "Mommy I don't want you to leave why you can't just stay with us." Nine-year old Leah begged her mother to stay with puffy red eyes. She closed the suit case up and took it off the bed. Giving Leah a hug and kiss she said her final goodbyes. Leah did not know that would be the last time she saw her other.
