I spread through out the village with Coquina by my side. She headed first for my protection, snuffling the ground as if it was seasoning on fresh, raw meat. If she could smell danger, she'd quickly step back and growl angrily towards the foggy distance. But now it was different. She stood still, still sniffing, she stood proud. Growllllllll. Coquina charged for the never ending land ahead of us. I launched as fast as I could, I did not want to leave her alone or make her lost. The truth is, I was lost. Not her. Finally Coquina came back for me and at that time, the guards started to run after her. They stopped as soon as she disappeared behind my back. Coquina came from behind my back and roared as loud as she could. She approached them as they shivered to them selves.
GROWLLLLLL.
GROWLLLL.
GROWLLLL.
RRRRROOOOAAAARRRRRR!!
The earth shook.
The guards hurdled themselves back to the king. Only a few minutes later, the king followed us, cunningly, with thousands of troops. That were lined up, and hid behind their master. Ready to pounce. He knew my father and he knew what I was after. I was hunting for the treasure that my father spoke of, and he knew that it could make us rich, richer than the king. But Harold's Guards were placed everywhere so even the smallest grasshopper could not proceed on the plains ahead of him. He would be delt-with immediately.
I had a plan. So that the guards do not get me, I will jump off the cliff and give the signal to Coquina to leap from ledge to ledge under Neath me and catch me on her back. But the problem is, will I land on her back?
I took the plan in action. I wasn't frightened, no I am not frightened, not me and Coquina...
