A kiss shouldn't be defined as two pairs of lips touching
If that were the same case, some kisses would mean nothing
A kiss should be a connection that cannot be explained
Instead expressed, through a gesture where your heart feels reclaimed
A true kiss is physical,emotional, and somewhere in between
It's where you feel confident and dominant, like a king or queen
A true kiss is where you get lost and don't want to be found
It's where you do it any day, even if it's not allowed
It makes you feel like a new person when it's finally done
I've spent my years waiting, and waiting, for just one
