Riley woke up in a happy mood.
They had school.
Riley was excited to tell her friends about Maya and her.
She looked at the clock
7:30
I should get ready.
Riley got up and headed to her closet.
She put on a Red T-shirt, Jeans, and a Black T-jacket.
She straightened her brunette hair, then headed down to breakfast.
"Good morning, sweetie!" Her Mom greeted.
"Hi Riley." Augie said sweetly.
"Aw, hi Aug." Riley greeted.
She ate for about 5 minutes before a knock came from her door.
She rushed over too it and opened it.
"Hi, Riles." Maya greeted.
She was wearing a Mint Long-Sleeve shirt and jean shorts with her long hair let down.
"Hi Maya!" Riley greeted.
"So Maya, we heard about you two!" Topanga said.
Maya smiled.
"Yup, and don't worry, I'll take care of her." She said to them, putting her arm around Riley.
"We know you will." Cory said to them.
"Well, Maya, we don't want to be late!" Riley said.
Maya waved, and they both walked out the door.
When they were gone, Auggie turned to his parents.
"What do you guys mean?"
Topanga and Cory then laughed.
"Well Auggie..."

On the walk there, Maya and Riley kept chattering.
"So, what do you think Lucas is gonna say?" Maya asked, snorting a little.
"I don't know, but I can't wait to see the look on his face." Riley replied, laughing a little.
"I'm excited, though. I like that we can say we're "relationship status". Maya said, as Riley out her arm around her.
"Me too." Riley said, smiling.
They then fought through the crowd of kids, over to the friend group.
"Hey Ladies!" Farkle greeted.
"What he said." Zay greeted, well, kind of.
"Where's Lucas?" Maya asked.
"Late." Zay said.
"Oh, anyway, Me and Maya have some news." Riley said excitedly.
"Oh boy! Did Lucas choose?" Farkle asked.
"Actually we did." Maya said.
"What?" Farkle said.
"Lucas took to long. So, instead of him dating one of us...we're dating each other." Maya said.
The two gaped at them.
"Like, for real? Like dating, dating?" Zay asked.
"Yes." Riley said, leaning her on Maya's shoulder.
"W-wow..." Zay said.
"Riley, I didn't know you were bi! Or, lesbian...?" Farkle exclaimed.
"Well, now you do. And no, Bi."
"Well, I'm sure we are all looking forward to when Lucas see's this." Zay said with a smirk.
"But, we're happy for you two." Farkle said.
"Ya. But I just can't believe its actually official!" Zay exclaimed.
But right then, Lucas walked through the door.
Zay and Farkle quickly scurried around the corner to eavesdrop.
"Listen, girls, I'm sorry I could choose, bu-"
"Lucas. Its okay! Now you don't have too." Maya said, cutting him off.
"What?"
"Lucas, I'm sorry. But you took too long. We're tired of dealing with it. So, we got each other." Riley said.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"We're together now. As in dating." Maya said proudly.
Lucas looked shock.
"W-wow. I-uh. Well, I guess that reduces conflict."
"Yup." Riley said.
Then, the bell rang.
Maya and Riley hugged goodbye, then set off to their different classrooms.
Lucas had mixed emotions. He was happy he didn't have break one of their heart, but he had made a decision. It was Maya. But now, he couldn't have her.
He sighed as he walked up too Zay.
"Shocked, right?" Zay said.
"Right." He said.
They then walked off together.

After school, Maya and Riley set off to Rileys house together.
"Did you see Lucas? He was shocked! It was priceless!" Maya said laughing.
"Best face of the day!" Riley said, also laughing.
But they soon heard someone approach them from behind.
"Hey, girls?"
They turned around to see Lucas.
"Yes, Lucas?" Riley asked.
"Um, I'm happy for you two. And I hope we can still be friends, right?" He said.
"Of course, Huckleberry." Maya said.
"But, I um, I did make a decision, if you want to hear it."
The girls looked at each other.
"Sure, after all, it doesn't matter anymore." Riley said.
"I-it was Maya."
Maya laughed.
"Me?"
"Y-yeah."
"Oh, well that's cool Huckleberry." She said.
"Glad I got that off my chest. Anyone, see you guys tommorow." And with that, he turned away.
"Its funny, he thinks we cared." Maya said.
"I'm glad he didn't make the decision that night, because then we wouldn't be with eachother." Riley said.
"Me too. I think we're much happier with each other then we ever would be with him." Maya said.
They put their arms around eachother, then walked in the sun back to Rileys house.
