Bailey's POV:

I sat down in my room going through my old photos. But something caught my attention. A memory stick and a note. That didn't used to be there. Did it? No. I don't think so.

Don't you remember the cameras? Try lying your way out of this Baby Bass... I vaguely recognised the hand writing as James Summers'. I put the memory stick in my laptop wondering hoping it wasn't what I thought it was.

But as I heard the moans, laughs and screaming I knew it was. How could I have been so careless? Hurriedly I unplugged it. "Dinner's ready." Serena mumbled walking into my room.

"Get out." I snapped. It was a reflex these days. "It's dinner." Serena said again. "I'm not hungry." I said putting my coat on. Surely I could find a way to get rid of the wretched device.

We both walked outside. "Sit down with us." Lily smiled. She was trying to be a replacement mother, obviously. "I'm not hungry." I sneered. "Then just sit with us." Father said gruffly. "Somewhere important I need to be." I shrugged.

"Nonsense. There's nothing more important than family." Lily replied making me and Chuck snort. "That's the single funniest thing I've heard all week." Chuck retorted.

"Just sit down." Father sighed. "I told you. I have things I need to do. People to see." I snapped. "I'm sure they can wait." Serena said and I rolled my eyes. "Well I can't." I hissed.

"What's that in your hand?" Erik asked suddenly. Observant little sod. "None of your business." I retorted. Then I left before anyone else could say anything.

I had decided the best thing to do with the memory stick is to drop it into the nearest lake. That way no one would ever be able to find it and will never have to accept the consequences. Ever.

I would be a free woman. Because even if Georgina or James came forward, they wouldn't have a shred of evidence. "Where to?" The driver asked. "The bridge." I mumbled too hurried to elaborate. But he seemed to understand what I meant because he started driving.

I fiddled with the life-ruining memory stick as he drove. Soon, all my worries would be gone. Gone forever.

Suddenly the car veered out of control, next came the intense pain. And that's when I blacked out.

Serena's POV:

In the middle of dinner, the phone rang. "Could you get that Serena?" Mom asked me. I sighed and got up. "Sure." I nodded. Then I walked over and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I asked. "Hello. I'm afraid I have to inform you on some very bad news." The woman replied. "Who are you?" I asked. "My name is Amy Samuels and I'm a nurse." She replied.

"Okay..." I said slowly. "Anyway. I'm afraid Miss. Bailey Bass has gotten into a very bad car accident but she is alive luckily." Amy replied. I gasped. "A car accident?" I asked making everyone sit up straighter.

"Yes. Would you and your family like to come down and see her?" Amy asked calmly. "Y-yeah. Of course." I mumbled. "Okay. I'll see you here." Amy said. "Bye." I whispered hanging up.

"What was that about?" Erik asked. "Bailey was in a car accident. She's alive but we should go see her." I replied shakily. "What?" Chuck snapped.

We were all sat in the waiting room waiting for the Doctor to say we could see Bailey. When I see 'we', I mean Blair, Nate, Chuck, Bart, Mom, Erik and me.

Chuck had started pacing back and forth. "She'll be fine. She'll be fine." Chuck whispered to himself as he paced. "Sit down Charles. You're starting to make me feel dizzy." Bart snapped.

"Really? You don't even care that your daughter could be dying right now?" Chuck huffed. "Of course I do. But we just need to stay calm and collected." Bart reasoned. "Calm and collected? Bailey could've died!" Chuck yelled.

"But she didn't." Mom soothed. "That still-" Chuck started but a Nurse walked over. "Miss. Bass is awake now and she said you can see her now." She smiled leading us to the room.

Chuck practically ran to the bed. "Are you okay?" Blair asked as me and her walked to the other side of Bailey's bed. "Fantastic." Bailey muttered sarcastically. "Thank god you're alive." Chuck sighed.

Bailey shrugged in reply boredly. "Miss. Bass is this memory stick yours?" A nurse asked. "Of course it is you, dolt." She hissed snatching it from her. We all looked at her curiously. What could that memory stick be?
