DQ'S pov
I felt the tears start to burn my cheeks as I ran at them. The one in purple aimed his gun at me as the rest picked up their weapons. As I charged at them full speed my senses went up.
Now I can hear there heart beats, see there moves and twist it into something else, and fill the impact seconds before it happens.
He shot the bullet and right as it was to hit me in my forehead I moved out of the way. He shot again and yet again mist with similar seconds before impact. The blue and red one came at me from both sides. I stop and watch as they lift there weapons above there heads with a smirk painted on my lips.
As they strike there weapons I jumped up and land on them. They looked at me I shock as I ran at the purple one after jumping off there weapons. I saw his muscles twitch and a small vain pop out of his head as he watched me run.
He soon pulled the trigger with his rage against his fingers. The bullet whistled as it came within inches from my chest. Right as it was about to hit me I went into a slide and ducked under it.
Now his hart beat was ringing in my ears and I could tell he was pissed. I flipped backwards, landing back on my feet. The sudden motion made a tear fall off my face and to the ground. Then through it. Looking forward to him I see he has a new gun out.
He aimed the riffle at my head and pulled the trigger almost immediately. Now on the ground on one knee and looking down with my eyes closed, I weighted for in to come. Right as I felt the pressure for impact I moved to the right. He growled and then looked behind me and stepped back some.
I glanced over my shoulder to see the blue one with the blade of his weapon flying to my head with great speed. Spinning around to face him another tear fell and landed in my hand. Now the blade was inches from me. As he struck at my head I moved my hand in the way.
The blade hurt horribly but what hurt worse was the fire hot drop of water. I closed my eyes and clinched my hand around it, letting the heat spread and burn the medal. When I felt a big tug on the blade I snapped my eyes open to see the blue one trying to pull it away. That only made me smirk in accomplishment.
Soon he was pissed, more then I'd ever seen someone get mad at me. He released his grip on the handle and I tossed the melted weapon to the side. I looked at each of them.
The purple one didn't have an expression what so ever, the blue one was pissed as hell about his katanna, the red one was just plain out pist at me, but the orange one, his expression was all over the place. He looked amazed, mad, curious, dazed, and to tie it all together, a smirk painted on his lips.
It was kinda scary to see them all lined up. I can fight them each individually with no problem, but them fighting together. As one. I can't win without Kellie. Not this battle. Not alone.
I stepped back as they stand with each other. They are a family that doesn't give up on each other. I can tell. My family would never do that for me, only Kellie would.
They looked at me. Looked at how I stud there with no weapon except my tears made of fire. Each watching my movements, my eyes, my expression. Why do they care if I saw them? No one in the world would believe me if I told them.
All I see right now is red and orange. A tear fell again, this time I let it fall. It hit the ground and spread. Spread under my feet. I looked down at it as more tears fall. This is new to me now. I don't remember this when I burnt down my old apartment, but then again I wasn't thinking these things then.
A few more tears fell to the ground, combining with the other. I glanced up, seeing them a little curious about what my tears are doing. Taking a small glance at Kellie, I sees she's just as confused as I am. Then I fill eyes on me. More then Kellie and them. They were someone else's.
All fore of the boys were looking around slightly, as though they can fill them too. I wander who was watching us. Maybe I do know. The rebel gang members that were kicked out for trying to take over. They're all over these parts, and love to ruin your life.
I looked over my shoulder to see them. All in the same outfit. An orange mask that covers their faces, black body suit that has small blue and purple designs on them that make their ranks visible, and brown boots that make it easy to hear them coming.
What did they want with us? We're just fighting as normal people in this area of town do. "Oi! What these losers doing on our property!?" Said one of the lower ranked men. Their property? What are they talking about we've lived here for years.
I slowly looked back at the boys and Kellie. She, as trying to stand straight without hurting herself, growled at them. The boys as well. Then I looked back at the fiery water beneath my feet that was still growing.
How has it not burnt a hole in the concrete yet? I stepped away from it and looked back at the gang of rejects that walked closer. "I don't know but, maybe we should teach 'em a lesson," a higher ranking rebel said. That made me growl myself. As my tears cleared away I stepped back.
With them here I'm sure to not make it out without Kellie. They stepped closer to us. With my back to the green men and my face to gang, I'm now trapped in between them. They stepped closer again. Almost every step them made, I made.
Soon I was now inches from the green men. Only now, I think they could care less about me and more to the gang of twenty in front of all of us. Glaring at us, they pulled out their weapons. Some had guns, swords of all kinds, even some old types of weaponry that I've never even heard of.
They walked closer and I stepped back again, this time hitting one of the green men. I froze and looked back, only to see the blue one there. He stepped aside slightly. Was he allowing me to stand behind him?
I didn't really care at this point, so I stepped behind them and the blue one moved back to were he was. Were they making a wall around me? The red one pulled Kellie behind them to stand by me. Why did they go from trying to kill us to keeping us away from harms way?
Kellie was a little shocked at what they were doing. The gang stepped closer once again. "Criss!" The red one warned, "What do you want? Freak!" The highest rank yelled. The green men used their weapons as a better wall to block us from them, well all but the blue.
"You know what happened last time you messed with us!" The shortest of the the green men said. Criss, as I am guessing is his name, growled loudly, "I know...and I will avenge my ex and my team!" He yelled with a slight voice crack. My senses went back to normal and all was a little less clear.
All I got from the last of that conversation was, that Criss lost his girlfriend dew to him messing with the green dudes and also lost half his team of rejects. So what does that have to do with me and Kellie? Why were they making a wall to protect us? Was that what they were doing?
All sorts of questions I ask in my head, but the only answer I get would be the gang members creating a circle us. Nothing in the world could have prepared me for what happened next...
