The car ride back was quiet. Stampy seemed happy, but not as happy as normal. When we got home Stampy started making dinner and I just sat in my room quietly. The first time we talked in an hour was when Stampy told me dinner was ready. I walked downstairs smelling lasagna and sat down with food on my plate I took a few bites until Stampy started talking to me.
He said Um Sqaishey, about today. Um, I didn't know what to do, I just acted on instinct I'm sorry. Stampy looked down at the ground sadly. I scooted over next to him and but my hand on his shoulder.
Hey it wasn't your fault I should have listened to you about waiting. I said
No it wasn't we were playing tag, I get why you didn't stop. He said.
Wekk if you didnt catch me i would have gotten hurt. We sat in silence for a bit then Stampy hugged me. My arms were on my sides then I lifted them up and jumped into the hug. I started hugging him tighter and closed my eyes for a bit. This was the best hug I ever had. Well except for my parents, but I haven't taking hugs from them recently, cause older and stuff. But the best hug I had in a while.We let go and I scooted back to my seat. We ate dinner and I went upstairs to my room to sleep and Stampy went to his office. I heard Stampy skyping squid again, I knew I shouldn't listen but that's all I could hear.

So how was today with the duck?
Good
So what did you do today?
We ate breakfest, we didn't really talk much.
Then what?
We ate lunch
What did you have?
Sandwiches, your being very interested huh Squid?
Sorry I need to know.
Ok, then we went to the park.
And?
We sat on the bench for a bit. Then we went on the swings then on the slide. My shoe came untied so I tied it at the bottom of slide, but Sqaishey came down I knocked me down.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHHAHAHAHHA
You want to know what happened next?
Yes!
Then I started giving her some pay back by chasing her around. She hid and I found her behind a tree then tagged her then she started chasing me then I got tagged.
Then?
I started chasing her but she was running straight to a rock. I told her to stop but she didn't. Um squid why are you eating popcorn?
Yep, I do it when I'm anxious.
So then I ran as fast as I could and just about when she was about to fall I caught her.
Oooooooooooooo
Quit it
Ugh fine. Then what.
I got her back on her feet then we went home. I felt really awkward so I just didn't really talk to her until dinner was ready. During dinner I told her sorry about what happened.
Why did you say sorry mate?
Because, it felt awkward. Anyways I told her sorry and stuff. She noticed I looked sad so she put her hand pn my shoulder and made me feel better. Then we sat quietly for a while.
And then?
I hugged her. She hugged me back. Then we broke apart after about a minute or two.
Longest hug ever haha.
Quit it Squid.

Then we finished eating and Sqaishey went up to her room to go to sleep.
Soooo... you like her.
Yeah..
Well tell her already!!
I can't tell her, Not yet.
Mate, she hugged you, anything else she did.
Well when I caught her she blushed a little.

Bye Stamps. The call ended, and I heard Stampy opening my door and I pretended to be asleep. I saw him looking at me because I opened one eye to see when he left. His smile was bright and big, and his eyes where sparkling like the sun. I heard the door close and smiled.

Oooo they love each other now what will happen next.
