Last day of school. Just a few more hours.

Scarlett Kinstone had bright green eyes, dark brown hair that was messy in a somehow 'perfect' way, and unnaturally straight teeth.

Lunch had just started and Scarlett was with her group of friends. Her best friends (who stuck close to her side) Piper, Naomi, and Pat along with others.

Pat was the only male there. He was tall and slim for his age, his black hair was as straight as a needle. He was quiet most of the time, and only found the voice to talk when he was asked something.

Scarlett had stopped talking to him a lot, long ago. Yet he still hung around. She was a bully to less popular kids, a bit of a bitch to her friends, and overall he could have made tons of other friends by now if he left. Although he didn't directly interact with the group, he stuck close to Scarlett at all times.

Naomi was the blonde of the group. She never wore anything besides jeans and the same blue hoodie. She was the mastermind behind all the mean things that they did. Being blonde obviously didn't affect her brain power at all, she's a straight A student.

Piper was just a less pretty copy of Scarlett. She agrees with everything Scarlett says, likes all the styles Scarlett likes, and does everything Scarlett does. She even dyed her light brown hair a slightly darker shade, just so it could be exactly like Scarlett's.

Piper pointed at someone. Scarlett turned to look and immediately blushed. It was Bryce Anderson. She would do anything to be with a guy like him.

He had disgusting hair that he greased back under a ball cap. He was bulky and tall, but somehow attractive.

The group of girls freaked out and whispered to each other.

He walked past with his friends, not giving a single glance at the girls. He looked pissed.

Scarlett was about to speak , but someone else beat her to it.

"He's so hot when he's mad." Ava Gregory whispered to the group, dreamily. She was small for her age and was the new girl in the group. All the others girls nodded in agreement.

"I don't think I asked, Ava." Scarlett said venomously.

The small girls' eyes flashed in surprise as the attitude of the group changed immediately. The others immediately began to back up Scarlett.

Tears welled up in Ava's eyes. She shook her head so no one could see and muttered an apology.

However Scarlett did see the tears. Satisfaction burned in her chest.

The bell rang out clearly across the school yard.
