MY INNOCENCE

After getting everything situated for movie night in my room, Aspen and I ran down stairs to get snacks. While I was filling a bowl with Cheetos. The door opened and slammed shut.

"HONEY IM HOME"

I peered around the counter to see Sammy's short frame, long, golden blonde hair, and hazy blue eyes. She gave me a bright smile.

"Brogan!! I haven't seen you in ages"

"I saw you two weeks ago"

"EXACTLY AGES!" I rolled my eyes.

"Where's Aspen?"

"The kitchen where else"

"And Travis?"

"Up stairs"

"Oh" she said with a frown. Sammy has a huge crush on Travis I don't know why though. He looks like a regular guy. Shaggy brunette hair, green eyes, muscular, annoying, idiotic, and inappropriate at all times.

"Actually can you go ask him if he can lend me his practice football helmet for next week?"

"Ummm yeah sure" then she mumbled something about why I'm so obsessed with sports and not shopping.

"I can hear you"

"Maybe you were meant to"

"Whatever" as she disappeared I chose the movie we were going to watch. Stick It. That movie was the funniest thing ever. I heard noises coming from upstairs so I quickly bounded up the stairs. The sounds came from Travis' room. I opened the door slowly. MY POOR INNOCENT EYES!!! I yelped grabbed the helmet and ran down the stairs. I flopped on the couch and his my face in the cushions.

"Brogan are you ok?" Aspen asked

"NO"

"Why not?"

"OH THE MENTAL IMAGES"

"What's going on"

"Lets just say Sammi might not be joining us"

"Travis?"

"Yep"

"Ew"

"My thoughts EXACTLY!"

He sat next to me and started the movie. I thanked him and we say in silence. I heard footsteps on the stairs. An all too happy Sammy came bouncing down the stairs.

"Hey guys!"

"Don't hey guys me, missy"

"Umm excuse me"

"She's just in a bad mood" intervened Aspen

"Well ok!" Her cheeriness is getting on my nerves.

"You would be to Aspen if you sister was kissing your best friend"

"How did you know" Sammy gasped

"How could you not with all the noise"

"Oh"

"Yeah oh"

"I'm sorry"

"Uh huh"

"Brooooogaaannn"

"Yes?"

"Forgive me?"

"I don't know, I'll think about it"
