BANG THUMP BANG
God, I wish someone would stop that damn banging!!
BANK BANG THUMP "Shit!'
Ok, now I know something is going on downstairs. I crawl out of bed and make my way down the steps. As I round the corner into the living room, I finally see what all the noise is about. My three brothers are in a dog pie in the middle of the room punching at each other. I look around to see the TV on, but their game of Call of Duty is paused. Meaning that's probably what they are fighting over. Given the events taking place in front of me, you would assume my brothers are a lot younger than they are. It's slightly amusing to see three full grown men fighting over a videogame.
My youngest brother Nick crawls out from under the other two, yelling.
'Cam, I can't believe you shot me! We are on the same damn team!'
At this my other two brothers stop fighting and look up at him.
'Damien was supposed to have your back, how was I supposed to know that the idiot running in front of me was you?'
At this point I am laughing so hard my sides are starting to hurt, and I have gained their attention. Nick puts an arm around my shoulders.
'Kiley, I'm soo glad you're here now we can show these two idiots how to really play.' He grins at me.
Shaking my head, I start towards the kitchen, calling back to him.
'No can do, I have to get ready. Kenzi is going to be here soon to go shopping.'
All three of them have followed me into the kitchen. As I'm grabbing a glass of juice Damien starts in with the questions.
'Why are you going shopping?'
'To get something to wear to that masquerade party tonight. Are you guys still going?'
'Of course! We can flirt with every girl there and they can't get mad that we don't remember them, cause they are wearing masks!' Cameron shouts, grinning.
'Wow Cam, you are such a whore.' I shake my head.
'Kiley, don't act like your surprised. We live in the same house, it's really hard to keep secrets.' Nick responds.
'Just wrap it up guys, I don't want to be an aunt! Oh and try to find your own way to get them out of the house in the morning, I don't like being the bad guy all the time.'
Damien smirks at me, 'Come on Kiley, that one was a clinger. I couldn't get her to leave, she even wanted to ride to school together and shit. What was I supposed to do?'
I glare at him, 'Umm...You couldn't have told her no?'
'I did, but she wouldn't listen. Plus you did great. Come on you played the cheated girlfriend perfectly!'
'Don't think that compliments are going to help your case Dame, sorry. Anyway I have to shower, behave. And no one shoot Nick when he's not looking, you know he gets pissy!'
I shout as I take off for the stairs before Nick can retaliate.
This is how most mornings in our house go. My brothers and I live together cause it's easier than trying to room with someone you don't really know. We are more like best friends than siblings. I think that has a lot to do with how close we are in age. Damien is the oldest at 23, Cameron is 22, Nick is 21 and I'm 19. My brothers practically look like triplets, they all have dirty blonde hair with green eyes. Every girl I know wants to get with them, and they don't turn too many down. Even I have to admit they seem to have everything a girl would want. They are all well built and muscular. Have great jobs and hearts of gold. They just don't like to be tied down, as they say. Between the three, I think they have slept with every girl in town. I don't understand how they keep finding new girls, you would like they would have run out by now. I used to give them a hard time about how they treated girls, but the girls keep coming. Everyone knows about my brother's reputations, everyone knows they don't do relationships. So you can't be mad at them if girls still through themselves at them. I don't do relationships either, but it's not because I would rather screw everything that walks. I just don't want the drama. Too many of my friends have cried on my shoulder with a pint of ice cream over some love gone wrong. I used to be the kind of girl that believed in that shit, but after my parents split I realized it doesn't last. As a result I am the product of "love gone wrong". My mom had an affair, and got pregnant with me. Once I was born the truth came out that I wasn't really my father's kid. With my almost black hair and blue eyes, I didn't exactly match the blonde hair, green eyed family. Once mom was caught she took off, leaving my father (who biologically, isn't my father) to raise me. Luckily, he was able to look past the fact that my mom cheated, and raised me as his own. Growing up with four males made me a little less girly, I'm not exactly a tom boy. I mean, yeah I love to play videogames and hangout with my brothers, but I don't dress like a guy or anything.
