chapter six

" oh my gosh!!!! Its so nice to finally meet you!"

It was hilarious seeing Lucy's face when she first saw Joey. Me, Lucy,Joey, and her fiancé Lucas are at her house "talking".

It really, was only Lucy fantasizing about me and Joey.

" so, how long have you met Katy."

Joey, was probably tiered of question so just asked that.

"well, we met in high school remember."

I did, it was a crappy friendship at first.

But look at us now.

I was starting to enjoy myself, forgetting about the school incident.

As we talk I started remembering the happy parts of high school, the parts that kept me going. sometimes I was very glad Lucy was always by my side. We've helped each other out, and well...

After an hour or so me and Joey headed back home.

It was the beginning of autumn, and it was blowing in fast.

The room was cold so I turned up the heat and layed on bed as Joey saw TV. How Strang to be so silent with him.

Suddenly my phone rings and to my surprise its my mom.

Hello?

Hey hunny, I have a surprise!

Oh my, mom I told you I don't need anything I'm grown up I can deal with life.

Awww are you going to let this money down the drain.

MOM! How many times, don't spend your money on me!

We aren't broke, but we aren't rich either, I just don't like having her spend all her money on me.

What's the surprise mom.

I just bought you a house!

Oh my gosh, REALLY MOM I LOVE YOU,but didn't it cost you.

Yes but don't worry I'm going to your dorm hurry and pack.

As I hung up, I just had a reality check.

"why so happy."

Then reality struck.

"well not anymore, my mom bought me a house."

If I move I won't see Joey again.

"its alright, I'll visit you every day."

It made my heart warm. He said he would visit me every day. Although I won't see him sleep anymore I could still see him.

" now who will be my thunder buddy."

He grinned and hugged me tighter.

He later helped me pack and clean up.

Ding dong!

that was very freakishly fast.

"oh hey mom this is Joey"

She waved and seemed to smirk. Ugh the other half of Lucy.

Sometimes I wondered if they were related. I tried to not let things get crazy like Lucy so I just got out boxes to pack. I could see she was very curious.

" so, is he your.... Boyfriend."

Ugh I blushed.

" yeah mom, thanks its akward enough."

"oh no its alright, in just wondering, but if you hurt my little girl te voy a chingar asta que...."

"mom!"

She started cursing in Spanish again. I do as well at times but not as much. She says I'm to American, but hey I know my Spanish.

Joey chuckled though, oh how I will miss his sweet smile in the morning, his sweet scent,soft hair, and his teeth ohhhhh lord.

The last box was the hardest. Just putting tape over it was hard. Well, good bye room.

my mom went to put the last box in the car leaving me and Joey alone.

" Katy, are you alright."

I nodded but he pulled me close pushing my chin to face him. Slowly, inches apart we closed in leaving no space. Then we kissed, his soft pure lips moved in sync with mine. It wasn't lust filled, completely romantic. It was a missing kiss.

Then we pulled apart, I slowly walked away, and shut the door.
