"Kiss Me Again"

Part Eleven:

Julia's POV

"Emi," I opened the door to her bedroom to see her laying on her stomach and doing her homework. I hold my weight on the doorknob and the doorframe and pop my head through the door." Got any cash? I'm gonna go pick up pizza for dinner."

She dug through her pocket and threw me money crushed into a ball.

"Emi, I'm getting pizza not lobster." I said threw the hundred dollar bill back to her.

"Just take it and pick up some Starbucks too." She smiled and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine," I caved," text me what you want."

I closed the door behind me and go to the coat closet by the front door. I pick a random hoodie and grab my phone from the coffee table.

"Heading somewhere?" I jumped." Sorry."

"Oh Ashton," I sighed in relief." Scared the shit out of me."

"I hope you're not literal." He smiled showing his defined dimples. "Where are you going?"

"Going to pick up dinner. My parents will be here soon and MJ is coming home early." I explain." I don't think I'm able to cook enough for all of us. Especially since we are all extra hungry after rehearsals."

"Mind if I join you?"

"Only if you mind carry everything." I smirked.

"Fair enough." He shrugged grabbing his jacket off the couch.

"Ashton and I are heading out for food. If you want any Starbucks just text me!" I yelled, having my voice boom through the whole loft.

As we exited and I locked the door, my phone blew up.

I read the messages I received and all were Starbucks order. I chuckled to myself as we headed towards the elevator.

"So you're Australian?" I ask.

He nods." And you're short."

My jaw hung down in disbelief.

"Rude."

"Quite true though. You're almost a legal adult yet you're barely the size of one." He commented.

"My apologizes that we all can't be as tall as you." I roll my eyes.

"I'm just pullin' your leg." He said nudging me in the side.

I was trying to be stubborn and act mad but who could be mad at a face like that. The corners of my lips tugged upwards.

"So you're the opening act?" I asked as we made our way out of the building.

"The very one." He answered.

I started walking down the sidewalk and Ashton's long strides were in sync with my steps.

"You don't drive?"

"Not since the accident." I said." I'm too paranoid something worse could happen."

He just nodded his head and stuffed his hands deep into his pocket as we crossed the street.

"So...you really don't remember anything?" I could tell he was cautious. He was unaware if this was a sensitive topic to converse upon.

I merely shook my head.

"I remember some things that I don't even realize that I knew. I suppose that's a good sign though," I say," I guess gives us a better possibility of actually getting my memory back."
