"SHIT!" I yell, opening my eyes to the clock next to my bed telling me its 1 PM, which meant I'd not only be one hour late to my first class but I'd also miss an hour of her.I decided to just skip it since there was no use in coming if there were only 20 minutes left of class. I'll just ask one of my class mates if I missed anything.
I get out of bed, get comfortably dressed in basketball shorts and a plain white t-shirt and go out for a walk around campus. I take out my earphones and put them in my ears and start playing my music."Ooh, I know once you come to California, you will never look back.
Ooh, just a little bit can make you wonder
You got it in
Hands up its a stick up nobody's leaving this room for a minute
Sick of the people who make the decis-"My earphones fell out and I stumbled backwards. Someone crashed into me.
I look up wondering what interrupted my escape from reality.
It's her.
I stand there, shocked at what just happened. Where did she come from? Why was she in such a hurry? Why did her beautiful goddess-like face look so worried and anxious?
"Oh my god.. I am so sorry, I didn't see you because I was rushing and not looking what's in front of me, I'm so sorry," she rushed all the words out, fast.
Maybe I should lighten the mood a little.
"At least you didn't run into that street light," I say quietly chuckling while pointing to the street light behind me.She chuckled.
Cute."That's very true," she states. I can tell she's nervous and anxious. I should probably let her go, even though I'm sure I'd gladly spend all day and night talking and laughing with her.
"Anyway, I shouldn't keep you from going where I'm assuming you really have to be, since, you know, you were here in such a rush that you rushed into me," I chuckle lightly.
"Right, sorry to interrupt your music, I should really head off. Again, I'm so sorry"
"No harm done, don't apologize. It's just as much my fault as it is yours," I say, trying not to make her feel bad.
She smiled, a closed mouth smile that reached her eyes.
Woah.
"Well, bye, hopefully when we meet again it won't be like this," she giggled.
I couldn't say anything, I just smiled, and smiled, and smiled.
After she had walked off a couple meters, she turned her head back to me, saying;
"Oh, and don't miss next class!" She smiled and turned her head back.
Oh my god.
She knows.
