The runaway

Chapter 3

"Are we there yet?" Manny moaned
The 3 kids have been walking for several hours and Manny had zero hours of sleep because he slept and the ground and so did Sky and Bryan but they past out. Grumble grumble!
"I'm hungry! When are we going to eat?" He moaned again.
"I know we're all hungry but we'll eat one we get to the nearest village," Sky said positive. After climbing. And walking they finally made it to the village of the west.
"FINALLY! WE MADE IT HERE!" Manny said with excitement.
He ran up to the nearest bench and sat down and relaxed.
" he sure excited," Bryan said then laughed. Grumble grumble!
" man I'm sure hue geeky I'm going to get some food,"
" oh this village doesn't have money or coins, they do trade only so I brought stained glass, here you go don't cut your self k?" Sky said and gave him the little sack of glass and ran off.
" ok so what should I get for all of us?"
He looked around for a bit and found someone selling sandwiches. So he went over.
" hi there can I have 3 sandwiches please,"  Bryan said
"Matters, what do you have to trade?" The man said.
"Stained glass and 2 coins," Bryan brought the 2 coins from his village thinking that he needed money but turns out he didn't.
"Whoa then you must be a traveler then. Nice to meet you, my name is Trent what's yours?"
"My name is Bryan and I'm traveling with my little brother and a friend her name is Sky,"
"So you know Skyer ya, you know I'll give you the 3 sandwiches for 3 pieces of stained glass ok? Ok!"
Bryan gave Trent the 3 pieces and got the 3 sandwiches. Right before Bryan left Trent whispered in his ear " keep an eye out on her ok?" It sounded like a dad watching out on his daughter.
"Ok." And Bryan ran off to Manny and gave him a sandwich.
" yum! yum! yum!  This is delicious!" Many said stuffing his face with the sandwich.
"Hey Sky, would you like a sandwich?"
"You talk to Trent, didn't you?" She said calmly.
"Ya why?"
"Oh nothing it's just that- oh I'll tell you tonight ok," she sounded sad but happy too.
"The sandwich is good though, I'm
going to get another one okay, do you guys want one too?" Changing subject. So she and Manny went to get another sandwich but Bryan stayed. 'Who are you really? Who is fox? How do you know Trent? Do you you have any family members?' All of his thoughts piled up and he got a headache
" I want to know," he whispered and sat down. He saw Sky and Manny heading his way so he smiled and waved at them and they did the same back.
" hey I got you a sandwich just in case if you wanted to eat," Manny said handing Bryan the sandwich. It was beginning to be night and Sky,Manny, and Bryan camped outside in the woods.
"Tell me," Bryan demanded.
"What?" Sky said.
"About Trent, how do you know Trent?"
"Well when I was younger my village got attacked and destroyed. Very very few people survived and I was one and Trent was too. Of corse my parents and siblings died and I was only 2 when this happened so I couldn't take care of myself so Trent did. And that's how I know him ok," she seemed annoyed that Bryan was asking personal questions.
"Hey Sky tomorrow can I ask you more questions, if not I'm cool with you keeping personal stuff," Bryan said.
" you know what ask all you want tomorrow, but for now let's get some sleep," Sky said with a smile. She grabbed the blanket and laid down.
" good night you guys," she whispered and went to sleep.
