Chapter 22

I and Justin quietly crept out of our grasp onto the kids. Jazzy mumbled something which caused us to froze halfway, "Fairies, wow.." Then she drifted back to sleep so I and Justin continued doing our getting out of bed stuff.

"Made it!" Justin half whispered-half said which caused Jaxon to flinch.

"Sshh!" I said a bit louder than what I thought I must have done. This caused Jazzy to turn around but still, sleeping soundly.

Justin took my hand and pulled me along with him towards the stairs. "We dont really have to be that quiet because Annaliese is on the other room, the farthest one and then Dad is on the another room too. Dad doesnt wake that fast."

I just nodded and I placed my right hand inside the pocket of my gray sweatshirt. It's cold, probably because of the airconditioning.

Justin opened up the door so the cold breeze slammed my face harder than I thought it would do. I shivered a bit but I shook it off my head as I heard the door clicked lock and Justin handed me the keys to it.

"What are the keys for?" I asked as we walked towards the lawn straight ahead to a big tree with a native swing hand-in-hand.

"I might wanna grab some food in a nearby store later. Who knows? So I locked it already.." He answered back.

The night breeze went on again and slammed us hard in our whole body. Then again, I shivered.

When we came near the swing, Justin removed his grip on my hand and ran to the swing. "Co'mere."

Yeah Justin, I know where Im going....dont really have to tell me. So I walked to him but I didnt make a move that Im gonna seat down with him.

I was just standing there watching him gaze at the stars above but when he realized that I look like a dumb just standing there, he pulled me close to him.

I sat down but he changed his position in a sleeping-like. I have no other choice but to just go along with it.

The breeze is cold but the sky is gorgeous. It has been a long time since I last appreciated the stars above. I've always taken these heavenly bodies for granted and usually, just ignored them but right now, Im lost to its wonderful twinkle. Yes, Im singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star right now in my head.

The moon gleams so fine and all the houses in the area all looks like their owners had gone off for a vacation. Just a few lights and the windows are closed matched with the curtains. Im sure there's no issue for Justin now.

Justin kicked the ground a bit so that the swing will move. He holds me tight and I've never experienced this, even in my past relationship. His arm on top of my arm, and my arm is on top of my stomach. His body is warm and comforting all my nerves down. Suddenly, he laced his fingers into mine and kissed my locks softly.

"When will this game end?" He said mumbling in my left ear.

I just shrugged my shoulders, probably? It will take some time for this game to end. I just see Justin as a friend and Im not building any feelings for him.

Justin's POV

I just hold her tight as if she'll be taken away from me any time soon. I know that she doesnt like me, she just plays the game so well. I still dont wanna end this game but I wanna date her for real. But, I cant because she'll reject me.

I remembered the time that I saw her. The time that she was so young.

"May I ask you something?"

Afraid as I can be, it isnt a good thing that I would simply ignore her right? "Shoot."

Silence filled our surroundings.

"I will go out tomorrow with Christian."

I suddenly felt my heart as if it would break into pieces. "I thought youre going to ask me something?"

She laughed a bit, "I know.. What do you think will look good to me, you know.. a dress? Denims?"

I scoffed, youre really asking me this Cara?

"I dont know, just be yourself."

I know that she smiled, I can feel it.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed.

Cara's POV

My phone buzzed so I shook Justin's hand off of mine. I held my phone up, and I know that Justin can see my screen too.

Christian.

I excitedly tapped in my password.

Hi (: Maggie said that you are at Jeremy's house.. Im in the area, wanna go to the park?

Justin's POV

......Im in the area, wanna go to the park? The last words said. No no no please Cara No.

She quickly tapped the reply button and she said, Yah! But pick me up on the street..

Then she sent it. Not nearly 10 seconds lasted when Christian replied back, Omw now :*

Fuck.

A kiss mark? Really?

Now youre screwed Justin.

Cara's POV

So I quickly stood u-

"Oww."

I let out a loud gasp! Justin fell off of the native swing and fell flat on his back. His hip fell solid on the grassy lawn.

"Oh my god! Im so sorry Justin!" I hurried to get him. Cara, you sore dumbass, now you got someone hurt by your carelessness!

"Im fine, Im fine Cara. Go on, your phone buzzed again. I can manage myself." I didnt even noticed that my phone buzzed again but I ignored it a bit.

"You sure?" He nodded. "Come on, let's get you inside."

"Noo, Cara. Go on." I sighed.

"Okay, bye. He's around the street now.. Text me if you need some pain reliever, Okay?" I spun around when he nodded and I left him sitting on the grass.

Justin's POV

So I stumbled accidentally when Cara stood up abruptly. But there she goes, she didnt even insisted to help my ass get the hell inside the house, well I guss she's too damn excited on seeing Christian.

So I got up as soon as she cant be seen already.

"Oww." I swear, my hip hurts like hell right now!

I let out a deep sigh and just walked towards the house, when I reached the door, I realized that it was locked from the inside.

"Oh shit." I mumbled as I violently tossed and turned the door knob but it wouldnt budge. Should I call Annaliese? No.

Ah, the other door!

So I quickly walked to the opposite of the house only to be frustrated that it was also locked.

I let out a deep sigh and just walked back to the main door..

Whyis this fucking door locked?

Holy shit. The keys are with Cara! I handed it to her! Fuck! How great can this be?!

What should I do now?!
