I sat nervously Infront of my new potential boss.

He was 6'2 and around 25 years old with thick curly hair and a strong jaw line. His skin was brown like Hennessy and he had dark green eyes that felt as if they were looking through me everytime he looked my way.

I nervously played with my necklace waiting for him to speak.

I'm 5'2 with long auburn hair and deep brown eyes. I'm  chubby with big boobs and an even bigger ass that I sometimes hated. My skin's a deep caramel and I have a few freckles laid across my nose and underneath my eyes.

"Mam, we're ready to order." he said as she walked past. "Mam!" he yelled angrily, stopping her in her foot steps. She turned around nervously smiling and carefully poured coffee into his mug. He pushed the coffee mug onto the floor shattering it.

"Please take my order not fill up my cup." He said calmly. She gasped at the shattered glass and puddle of coffee that laid on the floor. The waitress then pulled out her note pad and began to write down our orders. I nervously looked down at my hands as he cleared his throat.

"Don't worry baby girl, If you let me, I could solve every last one of your problems." He said breaking the silence.

"Mr. Dex I-"

"You what? Can't or won't?" he said interrupting me.

"Both? I never pictured myself selling drugs... And people who get into these type of things never get out." I replied.

"Who said it was permanent? You clearly don't know the game as well as you think you do."

"Please." I mumbled under my breath.

The waitress then nervously brought our plates of food. I looked down at the burger and fries that laid on my plate as Mr. Dex smothered his fries in ketchup.

"A woman as beautiful as yourself would have niggas in a line to buy from you. And who would ever suspect someone as innocent looking as yourself to be a dealer?" He said before shrugging and standing up and throwing money on the table. He took his napkin and gently wiped the specks of ketchup on his lips. He then tossed his napkin onto his plate.

"Call me when you've made a decision." He said before winking at me. I nodded my head and then watched him confidently walk away.

I put my head into the palms of my hands.

"What have I gotten myself into?" I whispered to myself.

I cautiously walked down the dark alley that lead the way to my apartment building. I walked to the front of the building and punched the code into the keypad causing the door to unlock. I walked into my small apartment exhausted and anxious. I threw my key chain on the coffee table and then looked down at my good friend, Lexi who slept peacefully on the couch. She must've been exhausted from job searching and crashed. If me and Lexi don't get the rest of our rent money by the end of the month, then we are both going to be homeless; again. We've worked together to get every last thing we had and every last piece of furniture in our apartment. We'll be damned if we get kicked out.

I plopped down on my air mattress thinking about legal and safe ways to make money as soon as possible. I can't get into the lifestyle of a drug dealer, Maybe I'll just be like one of those peaceful pot farmers but then I'd have to only sell pot. As soon as I unlocked my phone trying to escape my depressing thoughts Mr. Dex began to call my phone.

"Hello?"  I answered.

"Are you free?" He replied, this time his tone was much nicer for some reason.

"I was just heading to bed. It is 12AM."

"Let's go see a movie."

I sat with a confused expression, my thoughts began to scramble and my heart began to race. Was this dangerous, deadly and demented man asking me on a date?

"Uh-" I replied oblivious to the situation.

"I'll be there in 5 minutes" He said cutting me off. I could already see the smirk grow across his face. 2 minutes later I heard loud car beeps coming from outside. I looked out the window and saw Mr. Dex leaning up against a jet black 2017 Lamborghini.
