Chapter 2

Josh's P.O.V

After, my friends left.

I headed to my room and I went to bed.

The next morning my alarm clock woke me up. Well it's time to get some breakfast. I headed to the kitchen to get some toast. There was no bread.

"Ugh...."

I walked down the stairs to find that Amber was still sleeping.

"Amber! Get up I need you to go to the store to get some things."

Amber's P.O.V

I woke up, there was josh... yay😑.

"Ok, ok ill go to the store!"

"Be home at nine."

I changed into my human form. As Josh went upstairs I grabbed a hat to cover my ears, then I stuck my tail in my pants. Now no one will find out that I'm a wolf. I walked upstairs.

"Josh I need some money to get stuff."

Josh handed me some money and a list. I headed out the door. I had to walk to the store because Josh won't let me drive his car.

When I got to the store I looked at the list

Bread, jelly, butter, eggs.

Amber's P.O.V

I was on my way home when I saw a group of guys, they did not look friendly, so as I went past them I picked up my pace. I could here footsteps behind me so I started to run. Then a hand grabbed my arm.

"Hey boys look what we got here"

"Please let go of me." I said.

"Don't you want to stay with us?"

"No leave me alone..." I said with confidence.

"Let go of her." A voice said from behind me.

"And what are you going to do about it?" The guy that was holding my arm said.

I don't know what happened but, the man let go of my arm and ran.

I looked behind me to see a boy with brown hair.

"Th-thank you."

"No problem, I'm Toby." The boy said.

"I'm Amber." I said. "I-I um have to go."

I ran home hoping that I would make it home in time.

"I got the things you wanted." I said.

"Took you long enough, go back downstairs. Ill be down in a minute."

Oh no. I know what's going to happen. He's going to beat me again. I slowly walked downstairs. Josh came down with a knife. At this point I let tears escape my eyes.

"I'm s-sorry."I said while shaking.

"You, where late. Now you will be punished."

Josh grabbed my arm and he dug the knife deep into my arm I screamed out in pain.

Toby's P.O.V

After I helped that girl I went home. I don't know why but something about Amber. I needed to get ready, I'm going out on a kill with Jeff.

" Jeff, hey Jeff!!! Are you ready?"
